According to some article I read, the trust rating of Trump only dropped when the pandemic happened, he was not able to make the right measures to minimize the spread of infection, and people does not like the way he handles it, so he lost in the election. There maybe other reasons but the pandemic should have a big impact on the outcome of the election.

He(Trump) thought the election was rigged and the aftermath was what he displayed few days ago. Even though he has no clear evidence against the president elect, i think he made a point that "the US elections are full of fraud", if not; those who storm the capitol wouldn't have done such havoc just to make their support for him(Trump), though i lost my bet as i bet on Trump to win.

He know he lost, he just make excuses to gain sympathy from people.

Betting odds in the election already tells that Trump is the underdog and their camp knows they are behind in surveys, so all they do is just to make an excuses in case they will eventually lost in the election. Trump will be remember as the stubborn president in the history of America.

there are lots of people who lost on this bet since trump was the favorite from the start I saw bettors who bet on him, but the result went sideways, I would like also to bet the last time but, since there are lots of rumors, I decided not to, good thing I follow my mind and don't just look on the ratings, it could have been a big blow for me, congratulation to the winners.

Betfair has mandatory KYC, right? So I don't think that there is any justification for the additional delay. How much time is it going to check whether fraud is involved or not? All the formalities, IMO should be completed in a week or two. And the $1.3 million bet which you had mentioned was an ordinary bet waged on Joe Biden. They don't really have an excuse to delay the payment.

If the KYC is mandatory then how come they still are holding the wins of the users in the first place. I do agree with you, fraud is out of the question for the users but to the site, it will raise some questions. That is why I said that they should issue some sort of dispute because I do believe too that there is no reason for delaying the payment.

That is not fair, IMO. The election was over by the first week of November and the results were certified by mid-December. On 14th December, the electoral college convened and elected Joe Biden as the next president of the United States. For me, this was the latest they could delay the distribution of the winnings. There is no point in waiting for the inauguration of the presidency to distribute the rewards.

The rules of the game does not say a bettor is paid in the inauguration or after, the rules says bets are graded when the official announcement is release.

Or maybe they're just waiting for the official inauguration of Biden which is yesterday so they're holding the payments. Reputations can be build again and a bet like this can't ruin it but if so, they will just recreate another platform that's similar to it and rename it. That's why I'm betting on gambling platforms that has already a lot of investments in promoting their business, the popular betting platforms which prioritize their reputation because they're on the leading. Its just dumb for you to make out changes without totally changing up everything from url name up to sites design.This is the cons when you do deal with unlicensed one where you cant really fight off back with legal
means in case there were issues that had experienced.For local ones then this is an another story because you can at least have some fight to sue them out for them to pay.
When it comes to business talks then its just really non sense for them on not to pay on what they owe into their bettors knowing that it will really be risking

I think people didn't bet that much on Biden because his odds where so strong in his favor. The payout was fairly small compared to Trump. Initially I bet on Trump because there was a decent profit to be made if he actually won. But then the polls kept getting more and more in favor for Biden so I ended up actually closing out my bet. I just didn't see any chance for Trump to win with so many things going bad for him. Especially the corona pandemic and how it was handled cost him the election in my opinion.
