Bitcoins won’t rise up than 50k USD.
The reasons for this is that, when it touches 50k USD, it will become very much expensive to buy for the crypto traders, so soon the transactions on BTC will be come down and as the demand of the BTC will be less, so price will gradually come down.
This is just my assumption.
Tbh i am quite happy by seeing the increasing price of coin, as when i will sell my ‘saved’ Bitcoins, i will earn extra profit.

You are correct, no one has the impression that the Bitcoin market will reach the $40,000 range this January because market January usually experience corrections which is the reason why we need to be more careful cause the reason behind the current market surge in price is the institutions and the high the price of the market this month the chance for it to experience dump/correction in the remaining quarter of this year. However, the market supposes to experience some correction before breaking its resistance level but the current market pump in another dimension.

We always expect that to happen when we're breaking the barrier for every higher price. I am not saying I disagree with you, but I feel like it is not going to be that good neither. I agree that it is going to go up, I agree that the price will go up, but I also feel like 100k+ is not really that possible this year. Now why would I think bitcoin can't make another 2.5x? When it made over 4x in a year? Because I think we have already gone up so much, there was so much money spent on increasing bitcoin already, so that means if we end up working even harder, we may achieve 100k+ but it would be a lot more harder.

However reaching 60k-70k levels, maybe capping at 80k would be quite possible, I am not saying it would be guaranteed neither, maybe 40k was max and we crash from around here, who knows? But I feel like we are not done yet, and I feel like we may end up doing a bit better as well, I just think not 100k+ levels, maybe more like 75k or so.

My guess wasn't included in the poll where i do believe that it would stick out on 30k price i guess after this price rally.There would be always a correction even charts do shows up about 60k onwards for this year probability.

When it comes to predicting prices then im aint really believing on TA's but we can at least having some assumptions on where it can possibly heads up.Lets see on how long this run will go neither it would

Is there a big difference between $40k or $50k for institutional investors? I don't think so, because they can afford to buy something at such a high price, which is not a big problem for them. If we take into account that we are just at the beginning of a real bull run, then $50k is really just maybe a small psychological limit that will be crossed quickly.


As for ATH for 2021, given the current situation I think it would be realistic to reach at least $100 000, although that seems like a very modest figure at the moment.

You are absolutely correct and I have read alot of opinion about selling before total dump happen but I dont see any reason to feel sad/bad about selling now since alot of profit is already made by all Bitcoin holders. Besides, I have already sold 59% portion of my possession because I dont trust much in the institution.

I honestly believe that people who need money, should sell their coins depending on the reason. For example, I know someone who got covid very early on, like April or so, and he had to cash out all his coins to pay for his hospital bill, which was about 30k dollars because it was new, now it is nearly free, but since it was very new and it was a private hospital he had to pay that, and he cashed out about 5 bitcoins for it, now that worths about 200 thousand dollars instead.

Obviously in his situation you would feel very upset, not only you had one of the worst viruses in our life, you had to pay 30 thousand dollars for it, and also missed out on 200 thousand dollars as well. But think about it, if he didn't do that, he might have been dead, I am not saying he would be, but he "might" have been, so at the end of the day I say that was a good move to cash out and stay in private hospital.

I would expect the altcoins I hold for years will get the same amount back in the old bullrun before it pops again. $100,000 seem to be the number where articles sites are reporting. It could just be for the FOMO but probably less than $100k but more than 50K as well.

Anything can happen, But the ATH target I gave is $ 50k more likely to happen in the near future. $100k is also possible but the FUD around the cryptocurrencies will begin soon, from my past experience. The new ATH is possible but not in the same market cycle, BTC will cool off in a few weeks. I also sometimes have wild ideas about increases in cryptocurrency since the existence of futures makes the current price increase quite high. It is not impossible in the future the current ATH price will be able to penetrate to be able to penetrate traders' liquidation and vice versa the price will be at the dump according to the whales

I liked your analysis method and using past market behavior for applying in the current market price model. During the last bull market, almost all altcoins are dumped and sold by investors in order to invest more in BTC. The recent rally will end soon and the price will touch $25k, later the second wave of the uptrend can take BTC up to $60k.

Why would 50k be ridiculous? I mean we were at 10 price in September, in 4 months we have become 40k, that is 4 times the increase in just 4 months. People need to realize that nothing is "impossible" in bitcoin because everything is technically possible, but if we are not talking about silly stuff like some crazy people, like "bitcoin will be 1 billion dollars" type of people, then we should look at how realistic it is.

If we managed to go  from 10k to 40k, then 50k is not ridiculous at all, it is quite close and I would say it could very well happen, that is at least what I believe will happen, obviously I could be wrong but I think it is going to be at around these numbers in less than a month. 50K is definitely doable and not only doable but also our next goal as well. Before all the huge increases we had this period, we had a correction then increased, well we had a correction now and I believe increase is next.

I don't know where you got that information from, but are you sure you read it right? All the information available online shows just the opposite and I sincerely doubt that you have researched the topic enough.

Positively speaking, 100k might be reached although it still looks hard because the market cap of Bitcoin is so huge that it takes massive investments to double it up and yeah we have seen a continuous bull run so far but at some point it has to stop realistically speaking which then might be followed by a correction and even a dip.

I am not expecting too much but all I wish is that the price doesn't drop too much if at all because when a bear run starts it creates unease despite knowing that it is temporary it still feels terrible. I would rather have a 40k fixed than having reached 80k but a drop to 35k. Lets see how it goes moving forward but guys don't panic if a small dip/correction happens anytime soon.

More than 300 days ahead await for bitcoin. And it is hard to make a precise forecast about the price. But in my opinion, $80000-90000 is a possible number since bitcoin has draw intentions from various investors around the world. Every time bitcoin shows a newer ATH, it's correcting and I think those are the institutions that are filling their sell orders. We always expect that to happen when we're breaking the barrier for every higher price. We will always get to hear those opinions about selling but when you do, please make sure that you don't feel bad selling it and you're determined doing that. No regrets in selling in short.
That's just basing on my experience.

I honestly believe that people who need money, should sell their coins depending on the reason. For example, I know someone who got covid very early on, like April or so, and he had to cash out all his coins to pay for his hospital bill, which was about 30k dollars because it was new, now it is nearly free, but since it was very new and it was a private hospital he had to pay that, and he cashed out about 5 bitcoins for it, now that worths about 200 thousand dollars instead.

Obviously in his situation you would feel very upset, not only you had one of the worst viruses in our life, you had to pay 30 thousand dollars for it, and also missed out on 200 thousand dollars as well. But think about it, if he didn't do that, he might have been dead, I am not saying he would be, but he "might" have been, so at the end of the day I say that was a good move to cash out and stay in private hospital.

They should sell based on their situation without reasoning and feeling guilty that they've sold at the top. As long as it's not selling at a cheaper price and a loss, that's a good decision to make. We're trading and holding to get profits and not to be eaten by those institutions and those whales that are manipulating the market. If it's between life and death, you'll never think of how far bitcoin can go because as long as you have a stored value on it and you see it as a solution, you've done well for selling it with that purpose.

Since the topic is basically about highs and not really about where the price would be for majority of the year. Like many others in the pool, I do think we might reach a high between the range of $50K – $60K given the current fomo and mainstream hype. However, the price might not be in that range for a long time.

While I do think that six figures for Bitcoin is too far-fetched right now, I can't rule out the possibility of BTC reaching that price level just yet. We had a 20% correction recently that is healthy for market as periodic corrections are good in a bull run but it's just a matter of time before the bulls run out of steam. But before then, we might see another leg up. The extent of that upside move is what I do not know.

Bitcoin ATH has continued to be renewed, but if you look at the correction at the beginning of the year, it is feared that it will not be the same as in 2018 and bitcoin does have a correction but it is still within a reasonable scope.

Well how the time goes people are more optimistic and for a reason. I think Tesla is only the beginning of big companies investing in crypto. If we look globally the economic situation will be only harder with pandemic around and with printing more money. So investing money in crypto is a safer bet then keeping money in banks.

The frequency will actually decide on what is going to happen with the price more than "will it" because we know those huge companies will get into bitcoin for sure, we just do not know when. Let's say price reached 60k but dropped to 40k without anyone going in it with a huge sum, then some huge company buys 1 billion dollars worth of bitcoin and price becomes 50k+ again, and once again not many people invest and drops under 45k levels and some company buys again and this cycle continues that means the price won't be going too high nor too low neither, it will be around those same levels.

For that specific reason I feel like we are in a situation where we need companies to go in back to back in order to actually make the price go up, otherwise we are not going to have any increase and just ups and downs around the same prices for a very long period.

We will see if that would be realize, with a bull run it's possible but if correction will happen this year it might not even stay at $30k in my analysis. $100k is quite big only once the market is not bullish but if the market stays bullish, any price can be achievable even in just a very short time.

I believe the increase will happen but to what level, because we know that there is really nothing to worry about when bitcoin falls but none of us know when it will increase and how much. For example, right now it is recovering a bit right? Let's assume that the price will increase like crazy, where will it stop? Will it stop at 50k? 60k? 80k? 100k? 150k? Who knows where and when it will stop increasing? I personally feel like it will be 90k and I have a theory about it but it makes absolutely no sense at all.

What I believe will happen is that price was at around 41k at one point and dropped to 28k and reached to 56k which is 2x of the bottom of that run, now it reached to as low as 43-44k levels at the bottom this time around, and that means it should be somewhere between 85k to 90k if it does 2x as well. Obviously this is just an estimate and I made it up, I don't know what will happen, just a guess.
