I've got some hardware and its fairly cold in the UK at the moment.
I want to mine ZCash on windows.

What are my options in 2021?

ZEC is purely an ASIC driven Algo.  Your GPU wont do you any good.

You can mine it, but you willn`t get any profit. As it had been said - this is ASIC coin now. Just try any other coins - ETH, if you have over 4GB memory or RVN or ETC in another way.

The mining difficulty for Zcash is way to high, you won't get any result using windows to mine Zcash, if you really want Zcash to badly buy it or buy asic miner for Zcash and start mining it, if you can share the details of your PC we might be able to tell you the best most profitable coin you can mine instead of Zcash
