Sooo I've recently (last few months) got into cryptocurrency, and will be receiving money from a family member who passed away. Obviously ETH and bitcoin are options, and as of right now I'm January 10th, everything has dropped hard. I have good amount of money in MKR and would appreciate some advice in doing daily trading. Thoughts on MKR?? Please let's hear peoples opinions!

It is very difficult to give an opinion about the current situation. MKR itself has lost nearly 30% in the last 24 hours. Also, BTC's situation is not very good. I also have no idea what to do in this case. But on the positive side, a correction was expected and I guess it happened. From now on, we should take advantage of the next moves to come to a conclusion.

you need to understand about technical analysis if you want to be a day trader my friend so, you will know when to enter or exit the market with your own predictions, not other people suggestions MKR is good alts, and i think this coin is good for day trading too, because this coin have a good trading volume |

MKR is a solid altcoins project, and you choose the right alts but, if you really new, why you don't learn about how the market works before you drop your money in MKR because crypto investments is risky |

The best advice you can get is not to trade the money that is important to you. Cryptocurrencies are high risk market and just as fast you can earn, you can lose same quickly. Invest only money which you are afforde to lose. Don't make crazy moves when the market has already lost more than 30%. Wait for further increases. |

If there is a fairly good amount of money, then you can, I would even say, you need to invest in large cryptocurrencies. While BTC and ETH are falling, you should consider investing in them. This is a safer option than investing in small companies. I think you will lose a lot of money by investing in small projects. I trust bitcoin and ether more.

i think its better for you to split your capital in several altcoins my friend, not only in MKR for example you can add ethereum, litecoin or binance coin
because by investing in several alts we can reduce the risk in crypto investments

The MKR's trend was following the bitcoin and ethereum. If these coins are going down and MKR will be having the same performance too. When you are in the profit if your investment and it's better to anticipate the dump by sell some of your portfolios. That might better rather than to see your portfolios being eaten by the dumpers.
Think about that dude. It's about your money.

yes, i agree with you and thats mean we should have a profit target, and don't be greedy, because basicly a lot of people want to get a huge profit when they see the price growing, but the fact market will not always going up right ? |

Maker is one of the tokens that have high price volatility... but you don't want to cut loss because Maker will definitely return to its ATH. If you cut loss then you must be losing, just HODL it until you make a profit from Maker price volatility. |

Don't day trade if you are still new. Whether you have big or small money, the chance of losing is higher because you're just starting out. But if that's okay for you to lose a lot of money because your day trade, depends on you. If you have a lot of money in MKR, hold it just like how others are holding their bitcoins.

I just wanna say thank you for everyone for being so helpful. Im gonna hold out and hope for the ATH, while looking at other altcoins. What do you guys suggest using for trading/ investing? I'm currently using coinbase, which I like so far but it's very bare.

As you said you are new and it would be wise to understand that crypto is highly volatile and crypto investing comes with risks as well. Also, you made mention about daily trading, actually it is good but however you will need to learn from an expert in order for you to know and understand all you need for daily trading else you will end up wasting your money; take you time to learn about it in order to benefit from it but if you don't then you will learn the hard lesson.
Furthermore, since you already have money in MKR, then continue holding unless you are in good profit and would prefer to sell, then you can go ahead.
In general, to invest in crypto, you do so with your funds you can afford to lose not with your entire funds or borrowed funds.
