Not a scam accusation but poor service?

What happened: I Pre Ordered An A10 Pro Miner from their website on the 26/12/2020, Everything went okay i asked on multiple occasions if the transaction's went through okay? Said to wait another few days which i did and a few days later i noticed they sent me an email with a refund credit note with no reason? Proof/Pics will be attached down below,  :

Website:Miners.eu

Reference Link:Miners.eu
Payment Method: Bank Transfer
Proof of Payment: https://prnt.sc/wkyf2g
PM/Chat Logs:http://prnt.sc/wkyfy9 http://prnt.sc/wkygcx http://prnt.sc/wkygos http://prnt.sc/wkygyw
Additional Notes:I noticed the miner price has went up since my pre order, but should i still be given the one i preorderd?

Refund Note : http://prnt.sc/wkyyl1

I feel this was a very bad service from their side after i asked if the transfer went through , but didn't receive any more information and just a refund with no explanation?

then why put "scam" on the title

it is definitely a very bad service but I wouldn't say it is a scam. it is possible that they couldn't get or deliver what you ordered from them and just refunded your money.

just putting these links in case you are or someone is interested in looking at it.

I would call it a scam in some way, they had the same miner in stock and able to purchase for 11000euro no problem asked them they said yes they have them in stock the same day that became available they "refunded" the order sounds abit fishy to me, i mean the just want me to probably pay 7000 more as that's there profit, but why make pre order available without following it through?

I think you should change the title to bad service. avoid the "scam" word.

Hi everyone.

I just had the same problem with miners.eu

ordered an A10 Pro (750mh/s), made the payment via bank transfer... order status didn't update so I asked 2 times via email without any response. 2 days ago, I got an automail from them telling me, my order was cancelled because of no payment.
After 2 more days of trying to call them, i got a mail telling me that it's not possible to reactivate my order. At least, I'm more than welcome to do a new order (same Miner --> 4k Euro more)^^

This is really not too nice :-( Greedyness ftw :-(

Just be careful, guys!

You shouldn't really accuse some business that they are scam if they've managed to return your money. Some businesses never discloses reasons especially if they had a fault with their operations or in their business per se. Scam is a huge word and a hard accusation. Not defending them nor have any connections with them, but why choose them instead of those reliable miner sellers such as bitmain?

Certain reasons why this occurs:
  • they've never reached the quota of pre-orders
  • they had an internal problem in their main business
  • maybe their suppliers failed to comply to their agreement

And with that said, I guess this better fits on the Reputation board, as this doesn't really isn't a scam at all.

So i will say that they happily explained what was going on , that the supplier stopped producing the 6GB version due to memory fault and we are discussing further business, just unhappy how they didn't mention that in the refund credit note.

Hi everyone, same thing happened to me.

Last year on 29.12.2020 I ordered an Antminer T19 from Miners EU for 2.900€ and payed directly after receiving my order confirmation. Then, nothing at all happened. I did not get a confirmation of my payment and I did not get any replies to my message that I sent a few days later. On 10.01.2021 I got this message: "Unfortunately our supplier has increased prices considerably, can we offer you an alternative miner + partial refund ?" I replied which alternative miner they would offer me and to which price. Again, I got no answer, even after sending another mail. On 19.01.2021, without any further comments, I got a mail that my original payment had been refunded.

I am sure that they saw the opportunity of selling the Antminer T19 for a higher price than they sold it to me for (right now on their website it is being sold for 6.000€), so they did not honour the contract with me to make more profit.
