When bitcoin was at its early stage, when people have not really known bitcoin, its value has not fallen to zero, so if the price will increase and reach $100000, that means it has become more adopted and more difficult to fall to zero, it is not possible for bitcoin to fall to zero.

Just let us all be admitting the fact that bitcoin is a deflationary money, the price may decrease today but before you will know over a long term, the price would have increased more than expected. This is happening because it has a limited supply which is only 21 million btc in total, and because institutions and people are getting to know how deflationary nature Bitcoin is possessing.

Bitcoin price will increase above those prices one day, probably in this decade, while its price will never reduce to zero as it is a deflationary currerency.

To understand where Bitcoin is heading to, you need to understand how it started, the price it started from and the value it started from as well. Just like every other innovative ideas or technologies which started from the scratch, rose to a great value, and still rising with no one able to anticipate what will become of it in the future or how huge it will be in the future, same can be likened to Bitcoin. Of course there will be correction as it is normal with the market but yet it will continue growing. For me? I believe Bitcoin will stabilize a little, and be less-volatile than what we experience today. Plus Bitcoin at 12 years old is still very young in my opinion. Price discovery could take more than a generation, like Gold.

Again, no one has the crystal ball to see what the future brings, obviously, it can either to up or go down simply as that. Maybe the question is what are you going to do with you have 1 BTC and the price reach that levels? You liquidate your precious bitcoin, or just take a portion and live your life to the fullest or continue to hold as long as you can.

I am by no means expert, still, I'll tell you what I expect. I expect it to go much higher than 100k. And at some point it will crash again big.
Where to? Maybe even as low as 20-50k. You may be laughing now when you see these numbers as low. But if it falls there from 100k-500k, many will feel almost like it fell to 0.

In any market, cycles do occur where the market will make a huge rise and then will make a correction and so on and so forth.

In Bitcoin's case, if you will see its trend starting from 2008 it has always been in the upwards. Yes we've seen numerous correction which is completely normal in any market but nevertheless, the trend is still upwards. Now what will happen if it will reached $100k?? It might consolidate for a bit or make a correction at that price before going into higher price again. After all that is the cycle of Bitcoin. Going higher and then correction and going even higher and then correction .

That is because all of them does not have a crystal ball that will know what will happen in the future. That is prediction, and prediction will be a prediction. We can speculate for when the time will happen, but we do not know for sure. When the price can reach $100k, many people will sell their bitcoin, and they all make a lot of money from that. The correction itself will always happen in the market, so you do not have to be a surprise. As long as you can use the time to buy and sell, you are good to go.

It'll keep on going up after $100K, but it can't get infinitely big.   Just as one upper bound on Bitcoin, the total size of all real assets in the world is less than one quadrillion dollars (to be specific, one million billion 2020 purchasing power dollars).  This puts a crazy upper bound on the price of Bitcoin: $50MM.  Likely, Bitcoin can't reach even 1/10th of that as a market cap ($100 trillion), as there is not that much demand for safe assets over all assets, so the highest possible price is likely $5MM per bitcoin.

No one knows what will happen then, but every increase in price means higher demand which should lead to more stability.  At some point the price will likely be pretty stable, in the 500k-5 million range, since people will be using it for asset protection, transactions etc.

Either that or it will be nearly worthless.  To me, every year that bitcoin survives decreases the likelihood of the "zero" scenario.

Bitcoin has been consistently gaining value every year and is gaining more investors as well. If you're old enough in crypto space you have probably noticed it.
So, when Bitcoin reach the 6 digit figure then it'll probably rise even more, though corrections and dips are inevitable along the way. Nevertheless, nobody really knows what will happen with Bitcoin in the next few years, but one thing is for sure, Bitcoin adaption will become bigger and bigger each year.

Yeah, those values are possible to attain however the only thing is we don't know exactly when. $100k seems possible in this year though if Bitcoin keeps growing, currently it is playing around $38k and it seems slightly recovering reaching $40k once again. Regardless, upon holding just make sure that you do set your exit point and don't be greedy. Besides, I don't think it will fall to zero, it may go fall in the floor but I don't think it will become zero unless no one using it which is impossible especially today that crypto is now becoming a thing.

But if someone talks about the price decades away from now, they might mean that they believe that the price will be stable around that value. Nobody knows until we reach that milestone and get the surprise that it holds. If years back you were asked what will possible be the scenario when we hit the previous all time high of $20k what would your prediction had been? With all your efforts of been optimistic, a dump or flash correction would had been your easy guess but it didn't turn out that way.

The market continue soaring higher reaching new milestone with weeks. If you observe carefully many speculators have the $100k milestone at sight instead of other smaller trading value, meaning we might experience similar fate that befall the $20k milestone as that was also how that milestone was a focus point.

In last month Bitcoin was over $40k, went to $32k, now it's $36k... it can drop or rise for +10%, and that can be a lot! I believe when Bitcoin hit's some very high price one day, changes will be under 1%...
And of course we can always try to spend some coins, maybe with the price rise we can expect many countries to adopt it and we to be able to use coins wherever we want. Traders will trade if there's volatility, holders will hold anyway, I guess spending some from time to time is good, so there're tree choices of what can someone do when Bitcoin hits 6 digits, or 7 one day!

Bitcoin can "stay" stable for a while, but that is usually not for too long. Just to give an example, during august and September if I am not wrong it was basically 10k all around, it was around 10-12k range and never moved, and we are talking about over 60 days or so not playing that much.

However the funny part is, from 10k to 9k that is 10% change, from 40k to 36k that is 10% change, so people saw 40k to 36k as a HUGE thing, and you did too, but back in the day when it was simply 10k to 9k nobody really cared all that much, there was none who assumed it will crash and burn just because of that. So I believe as long as a drop is under 20% that is fine, going from 40k to 32k is fine, there is really nothing to worry about there. Obviously we are moving a lot up and down but about 10-20% range is nothing new for bitcoin, it always moved up and down that much.

I expect a mid-term peak somewhere over $100k later this year. The higher it goes probably means the larger the retail frenzy there is and therefore the longer and deeper correction/bear market afterward. Panic selling retail market will do their normal thing. But I expect institutions to keep buying  large amounts of Bitcoin once the price drops from whatever peak, so I don't expect a long drawn out 80% crash and bear market. I could see something like the second half of 2019 play out though, where we get 50%+ half year long bear market before supply gets so scarce again because institutions have bought up so much from weak hands at that point that the price must go up.

So probably a peak somewhere between $100k and $200k, medium term bear market back to $50k - $75k perhaps, and then rising again back over $100k by second half of 2022. Coca cola has been in production for god knows how many years and it kept going up and up and up forever and that is just one company, not even a currency itself. I believe bitcoin will have down moments for sure, it will either have correction, or a crash, or a bear period those are very well and valid things because everything in finance has those days and move on.

There are few things that does "stop" it from becoming more valuable. Obviously it doesn't technically stop it because bitcoin could be 100k and even more and there is technically no reason, but there are few logical reasons that may cause it to not reach there for a while longer.

One of them is the amount required, we had 15+ billion dollars just from few companies all bought bitcoin and holding and haven't sold in order to reach to 40k dollars, that means we would need even more, probably at least 30-40 billion dollars of money all buying bitcoin and holding without selling in order to reach to 100k, maybe even 50 billion dollars.

Now nobody can say that will not happen, but we can say that it is unlikely that someone will come out and spend 50 billion dollars on buying bitcoin that easily, it may be something of a stretch. So it is hard, not easy, not impossible neither, but hard.

No reason why it will fall to zero when it reaches $100k the bubble issue is not existing anymore because of what Bitcoin achieved in the last ten years, but there will be a correction, there's always correction it's been part of the market, and continue to be a part of the market, correction is something that every investor are very much familiar with, the price could go even higher and go down it depends on the reaction of investors on a given situation.

I do not think that we are going to reach 100k in this cycle, we are probably going to reach to a decent level, but not 100k, that seems too much. I would say something around 60-80 thousand dollars for sure, but that's about it, after it peaks over 50k, it should probably start to go down a bit.

I personally believe that we are going to have a bit more down time after that, reach to 30k+ levels once again and stay there for a few weeks, maybe 3 to 5, and after that we will have this type of bull run once more, it will allow us to actually end up with 100k+ at that point.
