What happened:
I recently got into cryptocurrency mining and decided it was time for a purchase of an ASIC miner. I actually knew some websites that are proven and tested by friends, but all of them are out of stock for the S19 Pro (I live in the USA), except some private offers which ask for unreasonable amounts of money. As I was watching the BTC price rally I couldn't keep my cool and started searching everywhere for stock. I found the above mentioned miningmetro.com. Their website isn't the greatest and all, but I couldn't find anything negative about them anywhere, so I decided to order. Payment was only in BTC. As soon as they confirmed my transaction reached them, our communication over their live chat stopped and they deleted all records of my account. I didn't even get a confirmation email. If anyone knows how I can recover those at least, so I can prove to the police I ordered without showing them the transaction in my wallet that would be more than wonderful.

Maybe you will say I am greedy and didn't do my research, I don't care. I just want people to know that this website is run by scammers and not fall in their trap. I am fully aware that BTC transactions are irreversible and anonymous. I just wish people didn't use it this way.

Sorry for your loss, lesson learned.

You need to be careful to buy mining hardware, the best way is buy from the trusted websites or directly to manufacturer... but well it's already sold out.

Regarding the websites, it's still brand new websites created 3 days ago.

You should never buy miners without further researching on the platform where you'll buy it. Always remember that in crypto world. one must not be pleased with the idea of earning money with mining, or a passive income -- all with cryptocurrency. Do note that bitmain is one of the most trusted online sellers of mining rigs as they've proved their integrity already for years they operate. Sorry for you loss, but honestly, don't buy mining rigs. GPUs are wayyy profitable and cheaper and you can buy them in any computer stores. Just my two centz

Because everyone is trying to purchase gear and paying extra for anything that is available, ready to ship s19pro at 2400$ while bitmain is soldout for the August batch!? I know that you doubt it yourself for a while as it was a little too good to be true.

Their website isn't the greatest and all, but I couldn't find anything negative about them anywhere, so I decided to order.

Well, no point lecturing you and twisting the knife, take is simply as advice for the next time, come to the forum and ask about a company before doing the purchase, it might cause you to lose an opportunity investment but it might also prevent a loss.

Sorry for you loss, but honestly, don't buy mining rigs. GPUs are wayyy profitable and cheaper and you can buy them in any computer stores.

It takes about 5 Nvidia 3080 to match an S19pro at 5cents per kWh, good luck buying them for 500 each or about 8 3070s, again check the prices.
Also good luck with buying them at all. Not even mentioning that it is way easier for altcoins difficulty to grow and turning your earning to peanuts, with sha256 you need a ton of Asics for that, which as the OP experienced it's not on the market.
