Yeah, finally those naysayers or at least bitcoin's critique is coming out again, this is a good sign that we are really in a bullish phase. Surprised to see a massive drop to $30k, nevertheless, I'm looking for long term so I'm not affected by it.

The thing we can do is debunked those FUD and let newbies in the community really know what's going on behind so that they won't panic and push the sell button. The price of Bitcoin went all the way down from $42,000 to $30,000. That's a good deal of discount on its price. It must be very attractive for someone who wants to become Bitcoin rich. Todays FUD of the day was the double spend fud. I checked the time stamp when the 3rd transaction occured and when Bitmex research published the tweet and the market was already in a down-ward trend, its hard to tell if it was the catalyst that caused this dump. I just think its a coincidence that it happened around the same time and would of retested the $30K area anyways. I am sure if this "double spend" happened while we were advancing then nobody would bat an eye. However since we are going down... people are blaming it on the double spend.

This is similar in the past to how in a pure bear market, no amount of good news will cause price to reverse. Same is true for pure bull markets, no amount of bad news will cause price to reverse. I think we just topped $42K too fast and need to cool off for a few weeks or months. All these TikTok influencers aren't helping either. Seems too many people are putting all their money into BTC thinking in a few weeks it will go to $100K.

It's true. The panic sellers always lose. As Bitcoin now is over $33k again. I didn't buy Bitcoin but KEEP at 27c, and I'm already 10% up. Additionally managed to do a little AME swap on sell high - buy low prices for another 6%.

Yes I can relate to the situation as they will just use common phrases like end of bitcoin, bitcoin is bubble, etc but the saddest part about the FUD is some of the new users gets trapped by believing in them when their negative prediction coincides with bitcoin dump which leads them to panic sell at undervalued price and thus setting up a new low.

Personally, I am not concerned about the decline of Bitcoin, on the contrary, I see it as a suitable opportunity to buy, selling panic always causes loss, so the trader must work very carefully during this period and know how to manage risks, otherwise he will lose a large part of his money.

Yes, we have recovered already, the news about this so called double spending was the main reason why the price did go to $28k bounce back to $30k and then we are now recovering to $32k-$33k because the fake news was just like that, not real. I'm actually immune to this thing. Normally we heard bullish speculations and new when the market pumping but later on, the wind changes, FUD's rise as people will see declines, dumping events.

This happens all the time after there is an important correction and people need to learn to tune out those people, if for some reason your own system and technical analysis tells you to sell then there is nothing wrong with that as you are not responding to FUD but to your own system and the way you understand the market.

Oh, yes, I just get the nice prickly goosebumps seeing those headlines -- and you should see what surfaces in China, Russia and even back home in Southeast Asia where even crazier headlines taken from random low-level policymakers keen to keep their hedge funds intact are picking up and blowing up on these pieces of news.

We can give them time to decide, and we can hope that they can know what they need to do based on the market situations. If they can not do anything, maybe they do not need to act and wait for the next movements at the market to give them an idea of what they can do. They need to know how to manage their emotions because trading can make them panic and stress because they are late to decide. Most probably FUDs was now starting to deceive somebody, and as I've observed after price reached $30k above; market has stabilized. Another advice for staying away from FUDS is that people who "say" things are not changing the price, because bitcoin can't go down no matter how much you say it will go down, it doesn't work with just talking, it works with actual trading. So, only people who decide if bitcoin will go down or not are the people who actually sell their bitcoins, if there are a ton of people selling a ton of bitcoins the price will actually go down and those people do not come here and say "I am about to sell thousands of bitcoins", they simply just do it.

Hence, what we are looking at is just some people who talk and talk and talk but they do nothing and when they do nothing that means they change nothing. Unfortunately there are too many people who invest depending on what others would say. I personally have lost during this new fall, but not too much, just about 200 bucks and that's fine, because I learned something much more valuable right now than I would have otherwise. There will always be prey in the cryptocurrency market since crypto is a speculative investment but I don't believe that a particular time is the wrong time to invest in the market cause what this market requires is adequate knowledge with patience. For example, those that invested in Bitcoin during the 2017 ATH price and hold have make a good fortune now.

You are right cause using influential prediction to make an investment decision is totally wrong but it will be hard for someone who doesn't have an understanding of what FA/TA was to make a proper analysis which will save her from following FUD or hype.

You should really deal with it by emotion because this will really affect your decision towards your investment because if you dont able to handle it well then

Just like what I have said, dealing with fuds is like a normal thing when Bitcoin is starting to grow or if there's a bull market. I don't know why they have to do it but one thing is for sure that they want the price to drop. Maybe they haven't earning big yet that's why they were spreading their false claims to everyone. This didn't happen at all, bitcoin and crypto is changing so much that it makes me surprised. I think it is quite obvious that everyone was expecting a lot of bear calls when we peaked, even dropping the price constantly, and when we bottomed at around 29k price everyone was certain that people would be coming here and talking about how "bitcoin is going to 5k again!!!" and so forth, but on contrary to what I believe it is certain that we are in a situation where bitcoin is going even higher and everyone is hyped about it which was something I did not expect at all.

I think it is quite clear that we are in a situation where bulls are still going strong and we are definitely doing better than expected for everyone involved. I am still keeping my bitcoins and ethereums, I am not going out and I will not go out as long as I can hold them and hopefully forever.

I have the same resistance to FUD also if you're here for a long time already you know that these FUDS will not work anymore, we have seen these FUDDERS using every kind of FUDS imaginable even to the point of faking popular people's account, but we all know where this will leads, these FUDS will cause newbies to panic, but if they do their research they'll know it will have no impact on the market and the community.

Weak hands are something real, I have been around for 8 years and I can tell you that I have seen plenty of weak hands, it was always there and it will always be there, its just not something we would basically be shocked with or never heard of, at the end I have met dozens of people who sold as soon as the price had a correction.

Just most recently a friend of mine who bought at very low levels like 15k or so and waited for 20k got lucky and price reached to 30k+ right? Well as soon as he saw the price crash from 33k or so levels to under 30k, 28-29k levels he sold all his coins and realized his profit, now he made a profit so that is fine but I also do not understand why people really sell as soon as they see a drop? Like he already missed out on a huge profit because price is at over 40k already, if he kept his coins he would have made ~40%+ more profit as well.

That is something people gain over time and it is really common to get used to it because there are so many of them. If I have seen FUD very rarely right before real crashes, that would mean that whenever I see FUD the price drops afterwards and I would be really scared when there is someone FUDing at that point fearing that it will definitely go down again once more afterwards.

However I have seen FUD a million times, sure they do it so often and so frequently and every single day that eventually sometimes they are right, but I have seen FUD on 20k price saying we have peaked and we can't possible "imagine" going higher, like they think even "imagine 20k+" is impossible, yet we reached to 40k, so it is really not that serious anymore and I do not believe them at all, not because they are just wrong but because there is someone FUDing right now, doesn't matter when, there is one doing it at all times.

Get ready to tell that to the people that are to afraid to admit that they are prone to panics. The problem with FUDs is that it is relentless, everyone at the financial industry is taking a jab to make fun of bitcoin no matter where the prices are and the only thing that we can do about it is to ignore it. But besides steeling our selves against the rain of FUDs and panics from the community, we also need to be rational, we have to hear their side too, the rational to be exact. There are some out there that is clearly negative but we have to be objective and look at it in an objective way, that way we can find a way to coexist with this things, its easy to see a rational but opposing article because most of the time, a lot of FUDs are exaggerating and the rational ones are not a lot but easy to find.
