No way even if it's a huge amount, I will take the money but I will question the government and the organizations, it's going to be a big black eye for the lottery company if bettors find out that the government is taking 70% or even 60%, now people in that region knows that the government is going to rob them if they win a lottery.

No one is going to support you. If you ask the common man out there in the street, he will respond that the government should deduct 90% of the winning as tax, and not 70%. That amount is enough for a family of 5 in my country to retire without having any problems with money onto the next generation.

A deduction by more than 60% is a robbery not taxation, imo. If lottery tickets are subject to sales tax then the winnings should be tax free

I think the most taxed thing is the lottery system which is also a common and expected thing when you're betting on it. What I didn't know is that it will be as much as 60% of the winnings  I thought that it'll be as much as 50%. In this case, it's more like your taxing the government when you're winning the lottery 
Anyway, I'll take whatever I can get when I won the lottery whether if the government takes 70% from it.

I don't mind if the tax will be much 30%-50% because I still have the most money from the lottery. I think it is okay with that, as long as we can take the rest money to our bank account and don't need to pay another tax, we still win. I am afraid if you ask the government and the organizations, they will not give the money because we want to know the details. It is better to take the money and leave it to them because I am sure even if we only get 30% of the total of the winning money, that amount will still big to us. I think the government or the casino will be fair to the winner, and they will not take too big as the tax because they do not want to see they ruin their own reputations by cutting the winning money too much.

Some would able to secure but most of them would really be spending up unwisely but though this is their own money and they have all the full rights on what they would

I wouldn't send someone to represent that amount for me. I'll take the amount and get to visit personally since it's huge money that's you're about to claim. Although it's possible to have a representative we're talking about huge money in here and you don't trust anyone with that amount.

Is the annuity option without taxes and thats partly why its attractive.   For most people I'd recommend that as more sensible as it stops any chance of ever running out in theory though that sounds silly with such a large amount.   Otherwise the lump sum always seems best on a million or many millions because you dont want to get paid dollars in 2040 and after hyper inflation so its not worth anything as much or is this in the small detail that annual amount will adjust for inflation.   If that were the case I'd say go the regular payment because when you 70 or 80 you dont want to worry about managing money etc.      Anyhow thats always my virtual dilemma for my virtual win scenario

I dont want anyone to know my face tbh, who would want all those requests and trouble and instantly people come asking as if you were in debt to them.   Is it worth losing your freedom to roam the streets in peace.   I'm sure I read about someone coming forward to claim but with face completely covered and this was allowed.   I would most definitely distribute money to charity and in the community but by my own choice in my own time and I'd always opt to donate via 3rd party or lawyer not in my own name, who needs that hassle really.
