PSL - Pakistan Super League Pool?

The last IPL prediction pool was a massive hit. We had several sponsors and the total prize money in the pot was 0.09525399 BTC which in today's BTC price: $4,942 (WOW)

I had plan to make this PSL as similar to the last IPL but I got busy in real life with several projects and from last few months I am not as regular as I used to be on the forum. Besides, I was not aware of PSL starting very soon too. I noticed it yesterday in the Tele. And it seems we do not have much time left too. It's less than 2 days now before the starting match.

In this short time managing a sponsor is somehow impossible. Maybe it was possible if I would have two full free days but unfortunately I do not have this luxary right now.

So considering no sponsor, no entry free - do you guys think we should have a pool just for fun?

I may consider adding some donation if we have more than 15 users interested joining a pool.

Let me know your interest. If we have enough interest then I will create an official thread like last year.

Ha! I completely missed out this thread. I saw couple of guys were discussing PSL in the t-20 thread, strange no one showed any interest here. May be everyone missed your thread?

Anyway, IPL is coming soon (April) so fasten your seat belt.

I was late too so could not make much posts to get the visibility. Hopefully next year we will have a good preparation.

Anyway, IPL is coming soon (April) so fasten your seat belt.

In fact, from the first week of the next month I will start working for this pool. I do not think we need to ask for interest from anyone in this one :-D
Since BTC price is sky rockeing, we need to come up with a reealistic entry fee. And having some sponsors will make the pool more interesting like last time.

Fair amount of punters gets active during the IPL so i'm hoping the same. Last price was 15 bucks or it was in BTC, don't remember. 15-20 bucks seems fine, i'm okay with 25-30 price tag as well if we are targeting the bigger pool prize.

I don't think that we should be having a pool for the PSL. There are plenty of franchise T20 leagues apart from the IPL which are being played now, including the Big Bash League, Mzansi Super League, Pakistan Super League, Euro T20 Slam, Super Smash, Bangladesh Premier League, Lanka Premier League and the Caribbean Premier League. If we setup a pool for all these leagues, then the interest will wane eventually. My suggestion is to limit the pools to ICC events (this year we have the T20 World Cup) and the IPL.

You did an amazing job with the previous one as I often used to check it, although didn't got the time to participate. I would have suggested that entry fees shall in altcoins like dogecoin but then I realized that the forum rules do not align with my idea.

As you said for PSL it was too late and I am sure a lot of players are interested but timing didn't quite worked out.

Talking of IPL and cricket, I was amazed how the recent auctions went for IPL with some good players getting deserved bids but some really surprising bids and would be good to see how it unfolds.
