Hmm sounds familiar, EOS-like in the form of TPS (transactions per second) although they claim to be able to handle more, also claim to be "decentralized" and "centralized" "at the same damn time!"- 2 chains, lol sorry had to put that in. their White paper is very confusing.
Now to that Binance Academy article - claims in the first paragraph.
"So, Bitcoin is great, huh? But why can’t I use it to buy coffee or pay taxes?"
News flash, you can 100% buy coffee with BTC, but why would you do that ? just buy a coffee plantation, BTC is the GOLD of today, would you buy coffee with GOLD? no, while you might not be able to pay taxes with BTC, you can easily convert it to actual cash, depending where your from.
This article isn't really attacking BTC, as long as you know something about crypto the question the question you should ask is, "Can I buy coffee with any cryptocurrency?" yes .. yes you can. If their argument is that, "YOU NEED CBDC to buy your coffee!" it's a really weak one.
That's about as far as i read, opening statement is everything to me.
