deFI token is currently experiencing a significant increase, but my advice before you choose deFI token please choose a token that really has good potential. because the concern now is that many deFI tokens are scam and become trash but trap using the name deFI. it's very detrimental

Yes, because there are only a few DeFi tokens that have real potential and usefulness, one should be really careful and careful if someone wants to choose DeFi tokens for any option including investment options.

That is the case in anything that becomes big and hyped. When ICO world started there were only a few one that was really good and all the other ones sucked, I could name like maybe 10 or 20 that was "decent" and few that were really good, all the rest? They ended up with almost nothing, they were literally just a way for the creators to make money and that's it, they got hundreds of thousands of funding and used that for personal gain and the end, coin was gone.

Same happened with almost anything, STO, IEO and now DEFi as well, people saw that investors put money into defi and they are creating useless worthless stuff just so they could actually profit from it, do pre-sales, and mint some for themselves and jut let that be. That is the case for majority and it is not a shock, tomorrow if something new becomes popular same will happen there too.

No one knows what will happen to those coins in the market in the future. I don't think it would be a good idea to make long term investments in DeFi coins. Because when a hype is created in the market with a concept, those coins pump a lot so that it creates hope among the investors for long term investment.

But the reality is that at some point this hype ends and something new takes its place. So I think DeFi coins can be a short-term investment, and should be sold at if you get enough profit.

I recently bought a 1Inch token, they have a very good aggregator for exchange and limit orders can be placed for free, as far as I understand it. I also really hope that the paraswap project will still make their own token. They have a very similar service. But UNI is already very expensive.

And right now, it is hard to suggest a specific DeFi token as you don't know its potential.
Better look for promising DeFi projects that you know can actually realized their objectives.
Many of them are just manipulating the market. And will never come up with their working platform.
It is on the buyer himself that will do the study here. No one can do the assessment for you.

First of all it depends on your amount thst you can afford to invest. You may come into some pool  of different exchanges like 1inch fir example - you can get percentages there. Or you may pay attention to Polkastart, and to its' IDO, it would be great to be accepted to their Whitelist and it can give you good profit.

I also invested in some defi projects last year and fortunately they are still running until now. Sometimes even though that project has a gold team if they do not put too much effort, they don't want to spend funds for marketing and to hire influencers they will not grow honestly, in defi  money is very fast but it can take away so fast too, so better to have a trading plan so I will track my progress and loses. ado your own research first before investing in something, many defi rugges after a month.

Honestly speaking the hype for defi stopped already. Some people who keep thinking in delusional terms might feel like the hype is continuing but that's not the case. It ends when you want it to end. If you are buying a defi token, good luck seeing it go up - because these things all drain the hype and ride on the wave. They don't have any mode of inherent growth.

Potentially only the first few defi tokens were worth putting money in and this is exactly what happened with icos and all. Still you might get some good returns, who knows. But the chances are slim and you would be better off buying bitcoin.

It's better, safer and wiser to do your own research and stop asking people for DeFi projects recommendations, it's risky than you could ever imagine, most DeFi projects are just hypes, they have nothing big to offer crypto users than empty words, I only trust three to four DeFi projects, UNI, Chainlink, Aavax, Aave and also Polkadot, others are nonsense

tl;dr Couldn't find the word Pancake in any of the replies.

PancakeSwap is a Binance Smart Chain DEX. 1/100th the fees as Ethereum, it's up over 200% in the last couple weeks but I see it hitting AT LEAST $1 billion market cap (5x from current price).

Essentially the Uniswap swap of Binance Smart Chain.

I wouldnt touch these kind of projects that do give out something like that even if it do talks with DeFi ground then it isnt still believable.
Also, shilling out some projects wouldnt really be that much of effective.People on this forum are wise and cautious when it comes to projects in the market.
Offering something good or things which is unusual would really be giving out that doubty feeling.

I guess no, DeFi token still have a chance to increase more than their price right now. Actually, it depends on bitcoin price movement. If bitcoin price show always increasing then we will fine to hold any altcoin beside DeFi token.

You will be afraid because you will see the previous event right? ICO was booming 2017 ago and have given a good return for their investor but when bitcoin price dumped their price is also dumpend and make many investors lose their money.

It will be like that if I see, when bitcoin price fall then we will see all altcoins market will fall as well but since bitcoin price still show a good direction I suggest don't be afraid first, we still in the good market. Like now, bitcoin price will increase again duo to stimulus by US government.
