How does Ballet choose which coins to add to their portfolio?

Do they have to surpass certain qualifications or can any coin's team pay a premium to have their coin put on wallets?

I have my own understanding of this process but have posed the questions directly to BalletCrypto and will update once they respond.

There doesn't exist a Ballet wallet for Cardano (ADA), but for Ravencoin, Kyber Network, Dogecoin, ETC, ATOM, TRON, BCH or Filecoin...
I don't understand their decisions...

And what the hell is Coinflux? Never heard of this coin...

It may very well be like that - that is what I figured as well. A lot of exchanges do the same thing with altcoims - especially new ones.

I got a response from BalletCrypto

The top 100 coins on coinmarketcap are of priority when we consider which coins to add to our wallets. Sometimes there are smaller community such as raven coin or conflux who want to collab with us, then we might do a joint project based on our evaluation of their credibility and popularity. Conflux is very popular in China and our team believes this will be a successful project , hence the conflux wallet

So, it looks like they work on adding the top coins and also then work with community projects that reach out for a collaborative project. It also appears that Conflux is very popular in China.

Someone from the Cardano-Forum has contacted Ballet about Cardano wallets.

The statement is:
“Cardano is not compatible with the BIP38 two-factor private keys of Ballet wallets, so we are unable to support it at this time. We will be happy to add it if/when Cardano makes the necessary technical upgrade.”

Ahh - if ballet requires BIP38 compatibility for their wallets and Cardano is not compatible with BIP38 then one of them has to change.

Huobi, Baidu, Sequoia, Chiness government invest in this coin, they have their own algorythm and Nicehash add it directly when he go out. I'm not surprise Ballet do the same, it's run by university teachers in computer engenering in Toronto and Shangai. It's huge in Asia, more than 1000 000 volume per day
