I was wandering around Pike place market in Seattle when I was approached by a guy dressed as a monk. He wordlessly goaded me out of 20 bucks, gave me a bracelet and a small card type thing that says some nonsense like "Work hard and live well" then sent me on my way. I keep it in my wallet behind my ID, so I can always remember that time in Seattle when I was hustled by a monk.

When I was younger, our teacher taught us to keep our things put into our pockets if we haven't seen any trashcan.
