How much will ETH be worth ten years from now?

Despite the "De-Fi" hype coming to a halt, Ethereum's popularity has been increasing at a fast pace. The price per ETH is certainly a lot higher than what it was 1-2 years ago. New "De-Fi" projects and tokens are being built on the Ethereum blockchain, even with the high fees and slow transaction confirmation times. If ETH keeps rising in popularity, I'd imagine prices would be a lot higher than what they are right now. Who knows what will happen ten years from now? A full-fledged PoS version of ETH would've become a reality by then, enabling greater transaction capacity and a slight reduction in fees.

I'm starting to wonder, how much will ETH be worth (in USD) in a decade? Will it be $5k, $10k, or $15k per coin? Based on your predictions, why do you think ETH will reach such prices? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am interested in discussing current eth developments. because with the defi technology that was created mammpu boosted the popularity of the eth price itself. And I predict the price will continue to increase, or even reach $ 15,000 ... in the next few years

We're just a couple of hundreds to $2500 and I agree that we don't need 10 years for Ethereum just to reach that predicted price. What's more interesting are the upcoming years once this phase shifting of 2.0 is done. Are we going to see double of $2500 and that's possible within less than 10 years. It's a long year to wait but everything and many things could happen on that timeframe.

Depends on the demand of eth either you say that it will be in that year but how it will be in that price of your prediction when no one will going to invest aight? most likely it will definitely happen if indeed the launch and function of ethereum 2.0 can work optimally later, because with the many users of the ethereum platform it will certainly increase demand for ethereum in the market and if that happens even in the next 5 years the ethereum price will be able to reach 10x the price now, especially now that people are starting to have a great appeal in investing in crypto and of course ethereum is the best choice right now apart from bitcoin.

ETH is one of the best altcoins and no doubt this coin deserves 10k, l would say more than this price. But it will not happen in the near future as expected. ETH price depends on BTC movement and BTC is getting up right now. If BTC will keep price increasing, no doubt ETH will follow BTC. Maybe this will happen till the end of the year, however, all of them are just predictions and it is hard to know what will happen.

Everyone has a different opinion on what ETH will be like, but I think the most realistic approach is not to look at the past but to look at what some of the other things have done. For example, I believe we will not become from 9 dollars to 2k dollars type of increase once again, that would be 400k+ per ethereum or something and I doubt that would happen.

However I think if you look at decent stocks and gold and stuff like that you will realize that reaching about 100k is not impossible, reaching 50k is actually quite achievable as well. So in 10 years, I am sure (can't guarantee it) price will be 50k+ and that will probably result with people who go "I wish I bought at 2k price" in the future as well because that is 25x return and believe it or not, having 25x return in 10 years is actually quite amazing. Since we are in crypto world, turning 2k into 50k in 10 years seems slow because people make 10x in a year here, but I think something less risky like this is a lot better.

$10k per ETH is way too much, in my own opinion. The ever-increasing supply of ETH will prevent this from becoming a reality anytime soon. Even if it reaches $10k, it will go down the drain faster than you could ever imagine. A more realistic price would be $2k - $5k per coin within a decade from now. And that is still ridiculously expensive. For what I know, ETH's popularity is increasing at a fast pace. At the same time, development is surging towards new heights. There are many interesting projects built on Ethereum that are gaining traction in the mainstream world. Projects like Uniswap, Aave, Compound.Finance, and Curve.Finance are in the spotlight right now. This should give ETH a further boost in price as people buy the crypto asset like crazy just to interact with the aforementioned "De-Fi" platforms. Who knows what the future holds for ETH?

Nonetheless, anything can happen in crypto land. It behaves in many strange and bizarre ways. Ten years is a lot of time in the crypto/Blockchain space. By then, it's expected ETH would've scale to thousands of TPS. If all goes well, prices within the next ten years could be a lot higher than what they are right now. But nothing is set in stone. All we can do is speculate, hoping that our dreams will come true sometime in the future. Just my thoughts

I believe there is a strong case to be made that ethereum follows bitcoin prices a bit, not exactly but a bit and that should give you an idea. I believe 50k per ethereum is not impossible, I know it is not going to be easy and not anytime soon but the topic is 10 years from now, and in 2031 we are going to probably have 50k per ethereum and that wouldn't be shocking neither. Why? Because we have moved from not even having eth, and only having the very early days of bitcoin 10 years ago to today where bitcoin is 50k and ethereum is already 2k, so that means we are moving rapidly as well.

It means bitcoin will keep growing, bigger and bigger companies will buy ethereum, everything will go up a lot, but eventually there will be a period where bitcoin will not be making huge profits for those huge companies and they will start buying ethereum a lot more and that is when price could become 50k.

$10k is very achievable, that's 10 years, and look at ETH now, it has already reach $2000 before it fall a bit.
The surge during the bull run is very unpredictable, and we don't know how many bull run we will experience 10 years from now, so that's a very realistic prediction.
