Even Dogecoin's price has grown by almost 1000% in one day quite recently. Of course, the price of $1 is theoretically possible, but in practice it would mean increasing capitalization almost to what Bitcoin has now, and this is just a fantasy at the moment.

Exactly, we can't underestimate crypto as anytime a coin can pump x10 to x100.

High supply like ADA and XRP already reached at least $1, so I don't think it's impossible with DOGE.
You know, when the hype is high the FOMO is probably and it could happen to any coin, especially for DOGE as it has already proven it can pump easily.

As for Elon Musk's favorite coin, in my opinion it is definitely Bitcoin - he has proved it by investing $1.5B in it. However, I can imagine that he is able to change his mind and when that amount is invested in Dogecoin the price of $1 will be achieved rather easily.

that's the main consideration why Dogecoin will never reach $ 1.
Inventory that is too much or even unlimited, can make the price decrease if market demand decreases.
there is a possibility but it is as you say. but that is also if the dominance of bitcoin is not too strong and it can actually make Dogecoin holders release it for BTC.

If anyone thinks that XRP could reach a dollar with the amount of coins in circulation and how much coins are pre mined then i can speculate about doge reaching a dollar as i consider it as a much better coin than XRP. You do not need to compare, both have unlimited coins just like some of the major coins that are rallying which is crazy but still you can trust doge because it is a decentralized coin while XRP is not .

I usually laugh off when i used to see some predictions but after seeing the current rally i need to think twice before laughing off as some of the coins rallied which i thought was impossible to reach and i could have made a million more if i would have held much longer.

The current market price of doge coin are rapidly decreasing and becoming red everyday. From just a few weeks, its price declined for a huge amount of percentage and it is expected to continuous decreasing that is why that $1 is quite impossible to reach. It seems that the possibility of increasing is very unlikely to happen, because what request @elomusk does not seem to be fulfilled by Doge to want to release his coins. because obviously it will be detrimental to Doge, of course, because the price will go down like it used to be before @elonmusk tweeted who wanted to buy it.

Nobody has proof that Elon Musk has invested any money in DOGEcoin. If he has nothing, then there is probably not much possibility to lower its price without selling much. Of course, it has a big influence on the price, but I see no reason why he could lower the DOGE price. I think the DOGE price is much more likely to rise as it does with many altcoins now.

I don't know what the acceptable price is for Dogecoin to go above $1. If elon musk takes Dogecoin to such a huge price, it will definitely be a big deal. Because Dogecoin has a lot of supply and yet a lot of these coins are hodl by crypto users.

Elon Musk has already officially said that he will not support Dogecoin until whales who own the majority of total supply sell at least half of their coins:

So either the whales will start selling and the price will go down or Elon will no longer support DOGE. Either way, there's no chance of $1.
