I never expected BCH can rise higher than ethereum because I have a good feeling about ethereum and I have a big expectation that ethereum can still increase.
The price will not stop, and I am sure the price will still increase and break $2k sooner or later.

Ethereum has lots of use case in the blockchain system that's it stand out with BCH and though it has down sides on gas problems still Ethereum has lots more potential to grow in terms of price increases. That's quite true, I am just remembering about BCH now which means that since the bull run where most altcoins have been growing, it seems to be lost in the whole show, at least now people are understanding the truth that, Bitcoin is the best. Also, looking at the high competition in the market now, it is obvious BCH will keep dropping and might fall out from top 10 in coinmarketcap sooner than later, however this should teach BCH a lesson that, the crypto space has changed a lot and only coins with good use cases are growing massively. In the same way, looking at Ethereum it has set a new ATH with even more potential to grow more, but the challenges which is high gas fee might be a barrier but if tackled with the upcoming upgrade, then Ethereum will grow a lot more.

Although ETH reached a new high, it is to be noted that ETH would still need to avoid a fall through the pivot level at $1,474 to support a run at the first major resistance level at $1,588 and a support from the broader market would be needed.

In BCH case,  If the price turns down and breaks below the $370 to $353 support zone, the altcoin could drop to $275 - Contrary to this assumption, if the bulls can push the price above the downtrend line, the BCH/USD pair may rally to $465 and then to $539. If the price turns down from this resistance, the pair could extend its consolidation for a few more days.

But the market is unpredictable and moves in mysterious ways so maybe a single movement from a whale would create a huge commotion in the market of these two.

for now ethereum hasn't been able to reach 2k, but for me the price is stable in the range of 1300-1400 is good enough. if it is too high it can also make transaction fees more expensive. and a lot of people have complained about this, so until the final phase of Ethereum 2.0, I hope the price will stabilize better.

and for BCH, I don't think this coin has a reason to go up yet. there is no news yet to make people want to buy or hold at this time. so no bch going up anytime soon.

Because BCH is a temporary coin with no actual uses/applications in the long run. The only thing that keeps its value is because it is a fork of bitcoin, and its notable figures keep getting into controversial hot mess hoping to make people look into the coin and nothing else. No actual development whatsoever was placed in the coin after the fork, whereas ETH keeps on delivering even though there weren't much promises to begin with.

In my opinion, for now, BCH does not have a good potential for investment,
but if Ethereum I believe has a good potential for investment, because the price of Ethereum will definitely continue to increase and reach a price of $2000 or even more than that, therefore you better choose Ethereum to invest rather than BCH, because I believe the price of Ethereum will definitely increase higher than the price of BCH and will give you a big profit by investing in Ethereum rather than investing in BCH, so it's better if you don't have to think about the price of BCH and just focus on investing in Ethereum.

After the community separate appart between BCHABC and BCHSV, the community isnt stronger as before. Also the price before higher is because the hype of "the next bitcoin" rumour behind BCH.

It is hard to predict the price of ETH and whether it will even cross $2k, i think it all depends upon the rally of bitcoin and if the price rallies to unexpected figures then we might see a sell of in the alt coin market and that include ETH. I won't compare the potential of eth vs bch. Eth has active developments going on whereas I don't have idea if the BCH team is still active on this project. And remember, BCH is a forked coin. If you will select between ETH and BCH, better choose ETH as they have wide-ranging applications. I don't think BCH can catch up with eth in terms of price.

I don't also have any news about them if they have active development but it is still existing and so as their website does. I don't have to choose between ETH and BCH.

I think one of the reasons why ethereum keeps rising is the fact that we keep finding more and more stuff to do with ethereum and that is a very good and very valuable thing that makes ethereum so valuable, obviously speaking we are not going to end up with ethereum at a million dollars, or you are not going to go out and spend ethereum everywhere you go anytime soon (yet) but it is still getting bigger and bigger amount of things you can do with ethereum so that is why it is so much more valuable.

Those dapps, defis and many other things that require you to have ETH is the main reason. I think miners are one of the reasons why it keeps so slow going up, I think if it was just few bucks to use ethereum it would have been over 3k+ already, the only reason why we do not have ethereum at over 3k+ right now is the fact that we need to spend tens of dollars for network fee's.

BCH is kinda not been manipulated by mainstream that's why we cannot see some movements from now but you shouldn't worry since I think we can see some changes from it in next days or months since by now many are now watching those big coins which been hype the most but I believe manipulators will always find some good opportunity to insert some coins around and maybe they give BCH a turn in future.

As per my understanding based on the old chart and the fork coins will be pumped at the end of season. You can see the last pump that happened on BCH and it was coming when the market has done to pump the legit coins and the traders started move to the crap coins like BCH and BSV and then they pump it.
BCH is not worth to be owned by anyone consider it's a fork coin and it doesn't even create an innovative product other than copy and pasting the product from another project.

The reason why ETH went up this much is the fact that whales and big corporations realized that bitcoin is doing great but they could do amazing job with ethereum as well, they are finally realizing that there are other coins than bitcoin and obviously the first choice was ethereum in that regard.

However they are not really familiar with BCH and I think we know how awesome ETH is with defi and dapp and other stuff, thousands of things are built upon the ethereum blockchain every single day, whcih means there are thousands of reasons to own ethereum and spend it as well. Hence why I think it is obvious why people buy ETH, we do not have that type of logic behind BCH and that is the problem, we are talking about BCH here and aside from miners requesting more profits from the mining operations they do, there is really nothing else BCH stands for and should be bought for.

I want to agree that BCH is still overvalued right now because it has no use.  Actually, we don't need it to begin with. Only those owner/s of BCH are getting the benefit of it. And the bad thing is that those newbies or newcomers are getting confused when they see bitcoin and bitcoincash, some platforms even introduced bitcoincash as the real bitcoin??? So hopefully, they terminate the existence of BCH here.

Many people are now selling BCH and invest in BTC and ethereum, because people know that btc and ethereum are really fast moving coin they saw a huge pump and they want to earn in a short period of time because, we dont really know what happens next to this bull run so people make or finding a good strategy to earn and maybe they saw that the bch get stuck so the best option is to sell bch and invest on ethereum or bitcoin.

I agree, personally I do not have any problem when developers in any open source project have their differences about the direction that they need to take and they decide to part ways, that is completely fine so if the developers of bitcoin cash had another vision about what they thought the network should be then they should have an opportunity to show the world that in fact they are on the right, so far there is nothing wrong with that, but the moment they began to call themselves the original bitcoin that is when they crossed a line that many people in the community never forgot and never forgave and I am among those people.

The tx fees was eating a lot of money from our profit. I got less profit since the fees is non-sense these days. That being said that if ethereum is not yet ready for the massive adoption. it may make the tx fees will worth more than $200 for a single transaction for the swap service. It's good to ee ethereum has been surpassing more and more ATH but the small traders have no choice to stop using ethereum at this moment.
This is a very bad situation for ethereum.

Ethereum touched today $2040 and set new all time high. I am still bullish at this point but we have to be cautious doing so. Please do your own research before taking any decisions.
Until no big negative news for cryptocurrencies market, don't see start of correction.

There's nothing unfortunate there for drama prince (Ver) who always creates a way to manipulate the market and by the time of making this post BCH is already gaining some slight price increase.
I believe the institution understands BTC is Bitcoin than majority of people in the crypto community cause most people are after quick profit not the beauty of the technology.

You know I have not thought about it in that way but you are right, if bitcoin cash was the real bitcoin as they call it then institutional investors would have been interested in that coin and it would have surpassed bitcoin on market cap already, but everyone can see that they are nothing but a bunch of people trying to use the name of bitcoin to fill their pockets, and the fact all of that money came to bitcoin basically disqualifies bitcoin cash from ever becoming competitive enough to try to take the place bitcoin has as the top coin in this market.
