That's because someone was mining too fast and the difficulty raised to "difficulty": 12715038.97862892

It will take some time to mine the next block and the sync problem will be resolved, can you start mining?

The difficulty has been adjusted and you can sync now without issues.

As I'm one of their community you can read from the main repo about this currency.

I don't think a website would add great value but this might be done on a later schedule.

Bitcoin itself started as nothing and it grew with time.

And for mining, actually, you got nothing to lose if you mined.

Sorry but we're not at the Bitcoin's time anymore, that was back in 2009 and it was the only existing cryptocurrency.
Now with all the coins in existence and all the algorithms all the works which have been made,  a website and explorer for example are basically the minimum required to get serious attention from community and miners.
