I saw this line and decided to look at my personal wallet and when I retrieved the line, I saw the same iteration value. That is, the theory that there can be no repetitions of this number is untenable?

If something seems too good to be true it usually is. Don’t part with your hard earned money & get scammed. Nobody is going to sell a working (with password) wallet.dat to you for less than the value of the bitcoin in it, why would they.

Stay smart!

This is a wrong judgment. There are many wallets with forgotten passwords and someone is lucky to open them using dictionaries. This is a lottery and it all depends on luck and of course a lottery ticket should not be too expensive. The price of 10 dollars for 1 genuine wallet looks quite good. I checked my entire collection and found 28 genuine wallets out of 50 I have.

Hi,

I came across your thread about fake wallet.dat files. I wanted to try my luck with my GPU and I wanted to find out more. The work done during this discussion is great. I saw that before it was allowed to everyone to get real  .dat files. I wanted to ask if it was possible to provide me with these files so that I can try to brute force them.

With my best regards from Switzerland.

    all wallets are scam!
     You check your wallets with pywallet tools  python pywallet -d -w wallet.dat
     You will find the keypool time is incorret.
     for example 18NxttmXTJfifBJCeJnJYTVvTniR5hZRBB  75.2 btc
     the keypool is:
     "pool": [
        {
            "addr": "1N7nnUeJEmRdUCjUFSgoZSWn6cqNmyPPvc",
            "n": 1,

        },
        {
            "addr": "1FgTU13mAVJenBLTGeqXQuEj3ZAFEt9q2s",
            "n": 2,

        },
       the nTime is modify password time,
      I  buy this wallet 2017-12-30  the modify password time is 2017-12-13
      password is forgot after two weeks, so the wallet.dat is scam

What tool do you use? My pywallet.y gives this error:

no such option: -d

You are wrong nTime parameter is the date when the wallet was encrypted for the first time. When you try to change the passphrase, nTime parameter does not change at all (I tried it on my wallets). It only changes when you have an unencrypted wallet and you decide to encrypt them. Only then does the nTime parameter change for the new date of encryption. If I'm wrong let me know Smiley

Every metadata in a wallet can be faked. Attributes like timestamp, walletinfo date creation, imported and exported addresses and so on. Everything can be faked. If you dont trust me, just add to telegram and I will send a wallet with proofs of fake.

Why You talk about 18NxttmXTJfifBJCeJnJYTVvTniR5hZRBB

Hello,

I'm here to try my luck to get a wallet open. Please sent me them to this address: jon18@eclipso.de

I would appreciate your work to validate the wallets as real ones with 3% of the wallet value, if I'm lucky.

Also, i have a few questions:

Do you have any experience with btc recover? I heard it is faster than hashcat
Do you have been successfull with brute forcing, or do you know someone, who managed to do that?
Has somebody calculated how the chances are to get one open (I know it's theoretically damn high but I guess if a human decides for a password, it should be brute-forceable)?
What would you do with the btc, when you can open the wallet?

This is 100% genuine wallet! Your method incorrectly defines a fake.

110 BTC - 1NyEeyXu8ydNw67e3ZTUmkwQJ8QNd1o3cF
$bitcoin$64$f3c90b573111e06ff0f96ebf32921f5f3dd10ba219f391ab0fcc1adadd3e2000$16$9809070f76fa92c4$60692$2$00$2$00

No, it's a fake. Here is the evidence:

Address:
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1NyEeyXu8ydNw67e3ZTUmkwQJ8QNd1o3cF

Hash:
$bitcoin$64$f3c90b573111e06ff0f96ebf32921f5f3dd10ba219f391ab0fcc1adadd3e2000$16$9809070f76fa92c4$60692$2$00$2$00

wallet.dat:
http://uploaded.net/file/scfiuxox

As you can see, the wallet was used last month. But nothing has changed on wallet.dat, because a fake can't update the transaction history.

If you add this line "/pay/CFVtAD" to this site "satoshidisk.com"
You can buy this collection for less than $2 per wallet. Thanks!
