I simply don't agree that money is our boss, though I already heard that statement a lot of times. Money is simply the reward for all the hardwork you've done for yourself. Yes, it's all about you, because you are your own boss, nothing else than you. You don' t work for money, you work for you. Want to be rich? work on yourself and not on your so-called boss. Also, you don't invest in crypto just for the money, you invest in it for yourself. You work for yourself, so yourself is your boss.

Furthermore, you can live all alone without a boss, but you can't live all alone without money. So how is that even equivalent?

I understand what you really want to say, yes money is everything and there are so many things that money can give to you but I just want to point out about making money boss of yours, you should not consider it as a boss because it will control you. You should be the one who controls the money. We work hard to earn money and to buy things we want and to sustain our daily lives but it is not all about money, there are still so many things that can make you happy and fulfill your life.

I agree, if you really love your job money is not going to be everything. Let's say someone would over you 500 USD more per month for a complete different job, with a grumpy old boss and no real coworkers. A job that you wouldn't enjoy a lot. Would you really switch just for the money? I think the older we get the more important are things like health, family and friends.

Money is simply the medium towards what you really want. That doesn't really mean that it's your boss or anything. Sides, not every work is "work" for people. It's sometimes their passion, and if you argue that if that's their passion so they shouldn't be paid then that's a pretty shallow argument. Passion or not, people should be paid for what their work is worth. Ultimately though, money is just to be spent, as a medium, so taking that as your boss, aren't you basically saying that you use your boss to buy something you want? I would disagree, had money been our employee and we were the boss, it would come to us without efforts we work day and night to earn it, and then we also need to protect it from thieves by using wallets, then when we spend it we count it very slowly to ensure we are giving away the accurate price, and also we try to save most of it and negotiate with shop owners etc, in an essense, it is kind of our boss who we work for even in irl, we behave so well with our bosses (even fake respect) just to get promotions, so lots of similarities there

Not all the time mate, you see farmers in here do not need money, in fact they make their own food, their own clothes, they're house are made out of raw materials like bamboo etc. The food and water are hard labored, fetch from the spring and the rice fields are vast. It's the way in my hometown lives. I have been there, and experienced it firsthand. They don't have people to boss them around and they can do whatever legal works they want. They maybe have money buy it's not their main purpose in life.

It's indeed true that we need money in our daily lives. We need to earn money in order to provide our needs and of our loved ones. Our source of income is coming from our work. The boss gives us the opportunity to have an enough salary to sustain our necessities in life. But it doesn't quickly equate to money becoming our boss. Unless you praise money so much that it becomes the center of your life.

Always remember that we do things with different reasons. Maybe for you, your boss is money. I can't argue with that. But to generalize, it's a big no-no. There are always people who work because of their passion and love for their craft and/or chosen career. We really need money to survive. Who doesn't, right? However, we must also take into the picture the intangible things that could make us happy, contented, and fulfilled in life.

I'm working hard to earn money but im not agree that money is my boss, money is just simple rewards for my hardworks but never become my boss. Boss means you need to follow their orders and you don't have any choices  but we're individual with freedom to choose, is not good for us to become a servant of money. It's just a difference in perspective between you and the OP. He's right on his version and you're right on yours. Money sometimes becomes the boss of people who struggle with the economy. However, if we struggle with the social side, money only becomes an intermediary. The money side is the boss and not. For me, money is not a boss but has the potential to be a boss for me because I currently seem to deify money and spend a lot of time just to make money.
