I know freewallet team are on this forum, they need to see this because it's been discussed many times already, I lost some btc to freewallet and also some Doge because I was a noob at the time, I knew nothing about private keys

It looks like, Elon is now on the way to teach everyone about the basic rules about crypto. Though everyone might know about those scam accusation of freewallet, but Elon helps other to understand the fundamental of crypto wallet and spread indirectly "Not your Keys, Not your Cryptos". So, it's always better to use non-custodial wallet instead of using custodial wallets.

I knew about freewallet in 2016 and most of my claimed faucets was stored in the free wallet, I have Doge coin and bitcoin with free wallet but unfortunately later on I can't log into my account again, I was told to login with my password and it was correct, it seems free wallet cheat me, after contacting the team they never help me to fix the problem

At least I wasn't expected Elon Musk would use such as custodial wallets. Anyways there would be a reason behind it that we aren't aware of. Elon said an important thing, we shouldn't use any wallet that isn't giving our private keys. The problem isn't with Freewallet only, all custodial web wallets have the same issue. Just imagine, if they could hold or block Elon Musk's funds who is a well-known person in the whole world then it's quite easy to block our funds. Anyway eventually they solve the issue of Elon's, according to Freewallet they block funds due to security reasons. Honestly, I am not fully satisfied with that answer. I don't think Elon leaves his wallet unsafe at all. There are many ways to contact with real Elon Musk except lock account.

Never knew that part, that is unconstitutional if I am right, collecting big data to sell to corporations or data mine is an illegal thing to do. I am not surprised that they freeze accounts because I know for a fact that a lot of exchanges, wallets and gambling sites do it. The big data part is very difficult to understand because isn't it anonymous unless they have a comprehensive KYC in place.

The problem is with the search engines that show wallet first and the lack of alternatives to it, especially for beginners.
I think that many who want to invest will do the following:

 - Google "Dogecoin" or "Dogecoin wallet" or "Dogecoin best wallet"
 - Download Freewallet wallet because it is free and wallet.
 - Keep those coins out.

No problem will happen as depositing with that wallet is easy, but withdrawing from it will be very difficult (need KYC, Docs, ...etc.)
I also think that the intense promotion of jokes made by Elon Musk about that currency will cause many to lose their money.

For this compilation thread about how freewallet works well this one should not be trusted. So to anyone planning to use this maybe they should look at this compilations so that they will not fall and add to write a scam accusation about them.

Better work with  trusted wallet which recommended by many users.

Yes, you've provided a response, what about resolutions?  You could just be honest and tell your customers that you'll require KYC upfront, before they register with your shitty app.

Why don't you provide your customers with all the information they need to make educated decisions before they deposit their funds?  Could it be so you can spring KYC requirements on them once their balance has reached a sufficient amount for you to scam them?  Are you hoping they'll refuse the KYC and abandon their account?  I'm also curious how many users accounts you've locked that have never been returned to the proper owners.  What do you do with all that crypto?

This is the way how search engines work and I wouldn't say that they work bad, no, and search engines aren't humans or super intelligent AIs to fully analyze everything and submit the really trustworthy things. They work according to some factors, for example: If high authority website links to freewallet, then google thinks: Oh, if cointelegraph includes their link in their main page (for example), then it will be good.

The problem is that Marketing actually works and good marketing can sell bad products. They know that their targets are newbies in crypto world and those newbies who are looking for all in one services.
