Earning per share/coin (if $800million profit) = $800 million/170.532.785 = 4.69
Earning per share/coin (if $1 billion profit) = $1billion / 170.532.785 = 5.86

Now we are going to calculate Price earning ratio,

So PER/ P/E for BNB coin (if $800million profit) = $124/4.69 = 26.43x

Yeah I'm kinda lost as to what @numanoid is trying to point out here. It's like he's saying BNB was pump/inflated to match the performance of known companies worldwide in the hopes of attracting bigger players of Warren Buffet's caliber.

DeFi and CeFi provided more utility to BNB. It can be used for lending, staking and farming. And, of course, BNB holders gets a chance to join IEOs.

indeed this is the pattern of doing business and investing using postage. It's seems you don't understand what P/E mean, better to google it first what does P/E mean and come back on here. The High P/E it's mean the price of that thing is already quite expensive, Low P/E means the price is very cheap.

I don't believe in all these jargon you write there, the valuation in Crypto is inorganic and I believe the recent price action is as a result of people seeing there is a lot of value to be made from projects listed on Binance chain. Binance is the most profitable company in Crypto land and if the valuation is based on the mathematics above it should at least be Number 3 on coinmarketcap but I have a feeling CZ don't want to put the project in too much spot light and decided to be driving value to other projects through their launchpad and launch pool

Besides bitcoin and ethereum, bnb can be the next potential coin that will increase in the future. I do not know much about how the calculation, but I feel that BNB can compete with ethereum sooner or later, and that will only a matter of time. Compare to the fees, I think BNB still lower than ethereum. But we will see what will happen later. Does ethereum can defend the position at the market or it will beat up by BNB.

Well, I do agree that this would be a correct estimate if BNB was a stock of binance, but it is not, Binance makes money and it keeps the money, people who own BNB do not get share of the profits like how people in stock world do. In stock world there are things called dividends which mean you would make profit from holding certain stocks, and even the ones that do not give dividends do have to show their profits so the price goes up. However when you are in the crypto world and you can't make any money at all from companies profits, they are not relevant.

But what is relevant is that since binance made a lot of money, that means binance has a lot of customers, and since binance has a lot of customers those customers spend money and since those customers spend money that spent money goes to paying bnb transactions which they have to pay for. That could be the reason.

I am not saying that BNB was undervalued or is overvalued or anything like that but there is a huge part of "what people think it worths" situation in BNB in any other crypto. The reason why BNB went up is the way people are spending hundreds of millions of dollars worth of BNB in the defi world, binance smart chain became big, huge and that really did changed a lot in the crypto world, which is why I think we are in a situation where BNB is worth a lot.

I believe undervalued and overvalued doesn't exist in crypto, people think one coin should worth something and they buy and sell accordingly and price gets there, there is nothing exterior that makes it go up or down, it is all buyers and sellers that decide the price. Hence, I think this mathematics could be right or wrong but it wasn't the reason in the end, people didn't calculated it before they bought bnb.

For binance, my impression from the beginning when I knew about them is that almost all areas in this market are exploited by binance and do very well to bring the best user experience. From the very beginning I bought it from around $23- $28, I assumed it would end the altcoin season at around $400 - $500.

You can think the price is over valued now but in crypto market, it will rise higher to top up before any corrections or bear market later. Oppositely, price might fall much deeper than what you thought in the lowest price for over sold. Fortunately, it will rally back to the oversold price you define with traditional TA.

Don't take profit too soon or don't fear too much and shake your hands. Price might often rise higher or rally later

I agree that regular stock market or forex type of TA doesn't really apply in crypto, it is really not similar and people forget about that frequently, I know that it is doing great right now but we have found "why" it did so great in hindsight, which means this could be the reason or maybe it is not the reason, we do not know if it is true or not.

This is why I think it should not be really that difficult to buy BNB right now and hold, I know that people are thinking you must be crazy to think BNB would go up from this already increased price, but the reason BNB increased is people really wanting and using and buying BNB right now, due to BSC and all the defi there, there is a high demand for BNB and that increases price of BNB, even if one defi ever bankrupts or does a rug pull, we will still be doing fine and we should focus on that part of BNB, that makes it very valuable.

Interestingly we had the same type of logic in our local community as well, we were just about 50 people in telegram that follow crypto together and talk about crypto, and most of them are not even active, so it was more like 20 people. However because of the exact reason you talked about, instead of going into BNB, we went into CAKE instead. Not like cake did anything wrong, we mostly bought it between 2-3 dollars so far and that has gone up 6x as well so we are not really unhappy about it.

Of course BNB price increased so much as well so if we stayed in BNB that would have been not a bad move neither, but Cake made us more profit so that was a good move for us. I am happy that bnb increased, that shows that BSC is doing great and more and more people are buying  BNB and indirectly supporting BSC token prices as well so I am happy to be involved in those.

Imo, Binance coin is useful and had secret in the following ways, during their ieo, investors are required to hodl certain number of BNB to participate in the presale why that could be another increasing factor of BNB.
Another one could be the token burn that occur periodically which is also the the respective reason behind BNB pump. With all these it's worthful to hold and buy more BNB to your portfolio, in the future the price of BNB will certainly hit $1000.

From $120 to $244 today, though, it already dropped from its ATH, still it sustain its market above $200+ level.
BNB is a promising coin because as you said it is backed by reputable and top exchange.
Aside from that, their BSC network is gaining popularity among crypto users because of its cheaper fees.
There's no doubt, BNB will grow as time goes by, if they keep up with their innovations and developments.

I think it can still be more expensive than the most expensive price because until now the circulating supply is still not maximal, meaning that when the circulation of supply is maximal it will make the price expensive because it will be more difficult to get BNB, with the Binance Smart Chain it will increase demand from BNB and help increase the price of BNB.

The BNB coin can grow because the Binance exchange has become the largest exchange in the world, and they are developing an ecosystem with the BNB coin as the focus.
If BNB was just for the payment of transaction fees it certainly couldn't have been so high.

Although the Binance exchange does not pay profits directly to Binance Coin holders, they use part of that profit to buy back BNB coins and burn them.
In this way they are indirectly increasing the price of their currency, and it is similar to the fact that they divide their profits among investors.

Well maybe the rally was really unexpected. It was only worth $40 then it rally to $120 then it even rally to $350 above before it falling and stable around $260 right now. Such big rally for binance and they even took 3rd place below Btc and ETH as 3rd biggest marketcap.

4 digit would be good, but tbh i'm aiming for $500 first

I always thought it was artificial, especially back in the early days when they were pumping it all the time with what I say was wash trading competitions (and then when they bought CMC and replaced all the staff).

Maybe it's become like ETH now though. They spent enough and made enough that people actually use it and forgive their dark past.

As a result of comparing some parameters such as their previous all time with a difference of not more than two dollars, their current trading value difference which is very close, and the high number of exchanges which could grant Cake a better advantage, Cake will do better in this cycle.  More Binance chains are entering this market, and people still consider Binance's transaction fee to be very low
