With $16000, I recommend you to spend $10000 to invest in Bitcoin. The rest portion $6000 would be used to invest in altcoins. If you spend $500 for each potential altcoins, you can invest in 12 altcoins. It is a good diversification for your portfolio.

$500 is the amount that you can easily enter and exit the market without any appearance of buy or sell walls from your trading orders.

According to your personal text you seems to be bullish on INJ but you must understand that Defi investment are too risky and aside from that, the current circumstance of the market is not good for inexperienced investors and I will advise you to wait till when the market correction happen.
In the meantime, you can still invest and hold BNB on the Binance exchange to get some airdrop money and others benefit just for holding it.

I do agree that defi is too risky for newbies, and too many newbies see very high APY and APR and they get involved right away, only to lose a lot of money when tokens drop in price instead of give a good return. However one thing I can't agree more is BNB suggestion, it is a great idea to buy BNB, because in the end even if tokens that are on BNB chain is good or bad, that will result with people having a ton of profit over course of years since even in bad or good tokens everyone will get into BNB to use those tokens, think of it like ETH and erc20 tokens and same logic.

This is why I think buying BNB will be the smartest thing anyone can make right now and price will definitely go towards 1000+ dollars in the future, maybe not in a few days but it will definitely be there in a few years at most. That is why I have bought a lot of BNB and it already brought me nearly 3x profit already.

Take it to 30:30:40. 40% should be in Ethereum. That's the best idea that you can do but I'll remove the other coin, ENJ. And the portion that it should be taking, I'll put it into bitcoin.

If I were you, I will invest in either ethereum, polkadot, bnb or ada. Or I will divided that $16000 into those coins. I've been following those top cryptocurrency for the past few months and 85% of my predictions are actually happened. Also bitcoin is a great investment but the risk is high especially recently it reached $52000 or another ATH. Most of the time after the ATH, bitcoin usually dump its price value and will increase for the next few months again. You made this kind of money with sweat and effort. Investing is fine, but consider doing that with patience and not when prices are so high. I was also tempted to do the same but look again at the market. It is horribly overvalued and anytime it can start crashing with just one bad news appearing. It is close to one year right now since the last halving of Bitcoin rewards and while we can have a few more months of a bullrun and altcoin season, I have started feeling the risk being so high that I can't put money in it at all. Pay attention to the prices, they will go down a lot at some point. If possible, just trade and be ready to exit if there are signs of prices collapsing.

In my opinion, there is no right formula for this.

You just have to decide in which coin you want to invest in the short or long term and make the right ratio.

Also, I saw in one of the comments, which is true - if you have no other funds than these, do not invest everything.

if you read my post i suggest you do the following:

1 - look for business in the real world in your country and invest in them. example:

you have $16,000

you take $2000 and guards at the bank

you take $6,000 and invest in the real world business

2 - with $8000 invests $2000 in bitcoin, $1000 in ETH and the rest of the money look for other altcoins and invest $100 to $300 in each one

But be aware that in the event that bitcoin falls, all altcoins also fall, which is why you have to invest in the real world business too

Brother, cut it in half before you decide investing. ENJ, DOT and ETH are very potential alts to invest with your big funds, I judt wanted to suggest that you add to your portfolio portion the EGLD, BNB and LINK because altcoins are also a very potential tokens. With regards to the partition of your 16000$, I strong suggest that you do your dip researching in which of those token you will put a large part of the fund and which token will have the small amount of your fund.

My suggestion for you is this way

1. Always don't put your investment in one area

2. Be sure to invest what you can take the shock when it goes bad, so it means you have to be sure you want to do the investment.

3. Remove $2,000 from your $16,000 and you have $14,000. Use the $2,000 for yourself, feeding and upkeep. And you have $14,000 to invest.

4. Split your $14_000 into two, that is $7,000 on each part.

5. Invest one part in real life business and that means you can be having income on daily bases or intervals depending on the investment and you can still sustain your life with this real life business.

Most importantly, I would recommend adhering to risk management and not investing more than 20 percent of your bankroll even in a project that seems very promising. In such a market, the direction changes in one second! Don't be greedy, share your investment!
