Bitcoin just smashed $50k

I think it is too early to celebrate since the Bitcoin price goes back to the $48k area.  We must see the price of Bitcoin stabilize in the $50kish area before celebrating and aiming for further increase in price.  It just pokes the $50k barrier and never settles on it yet.  But nevertheless, Bitcoin has recorded its new ATH @ $50380 on 2021-02-16 I hope we can see more  ATH breaking trend this whole year.

Bitcoin will never fail us, so lucky are those who have their trust and faith in it and just holding continuously. Brave holders get rewarded accordingly but I'm sure that Bitcoin isn't done yet. I wouldn't say smashed as it's just touched it and gone back down but it's pretty clear that we are on a path to $100k. We may have one or two more attempts but once we clearly cross that barrier I think it's going to get to $60k easily as there are usually a lot of sell orders near round numbers like $50k.

Wonderful! I thought it could take several months to hit $50k but I was wrong. Bitcoin is unstoppable and unbeatable, no fud can ever kill it. It seems that its path is clear and no signs that might hinder its growth, quiet an exciting new year.

This is no longer a news to some investors, who new it through their research some years ago, that the price of bitcoin will reach $60k in 2021. many customers are still waiting for the price of bitcoin to increase to $50k before they can release their coins for sale, which is about to happen in the market.

Yes but also with 50 k  we have seen correction. now it's starting to go up again. Is that it or can we expect to see it dip again in the next 24hrs or so before it continues on the rise. Im ready to buy just confused as to if now is time or if I should be waiting longer.

We are seeing Bitcoin as well as Ethereum doing real good and fastly growing and improving over a short period of time which gives more hype to the people inside and outside the crypto market urging to get along with the thread and purchasing as much as they can for many seems like waiting for this to come and now looking forward for Bitcoin to reach new highs raising its price to $100,000. Yes it can be possible to make happen but I guess that will still take time to be achieve. Don't get excited though, yes we have broken that $50k barrier, but there's a lot of work to do before we can see the price getting stronger or sustainable at least. Although after touching it, the price goes on a dump of $1k, not surprising as investors are going to sell at this price.

Nevertheless, hitting $50k early this year is a sign that the market will grow even stronger, not just bitcoin but the whole crypto ecosystem as we might see 2 trillion market cap soon.

Yes, it is a happy moment for us.
Bitcoin can reach $51k this month, and I guess that will not just stop this price, but it will increase and the next target price will be $60k.
We can enjoy this moment by selling the bitcoin we have and make a profit from bitcoin. But we need to be ready because this moment will not stay with us for a long time, and we need to prepare for the other correction.
I wonder what will happen in Q2 if these situations continue because the price can break by $55k as soon as possible if the market can be like this.

those who bought altcoins these days are having the worst time of their lives because altcoins are dumping hard. that is the known trend from early days. this is also why almost everyone dumps their altcoins at times like this (the altcoin volume shoots up every time bitcoin rises).
ethereum is probably the smallest dump so far. last week it was 0.04 and now it is 0.035 with a 12.5% dump as bitcoin rises.

That might have been true when you wrote your post, but as of right now, bitcoin is at $51k.  Unbelievable!

It's nice that bitcoin is blowing up and all, but I suspect that there's going to be a correction coming soon--unless there continues to be more institutional buying, in which case all bets are off.  I'm fairly certain that the reason bitcoin is where it is is because of companies like MSTR and the rest that are buying huge amounts of it.  Eventually that enormous demand will taper off and traders will take profits, too, but I'm just hoping we don't see a major crash.

I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

Institutional buying is ongoing right now, and we don't know the details. Even in the case of Tesla, they revealed about the purchase only one month later. The announcement was made in February, although most of the buying was done in January. Perhaps that is the reason why we are not having a correction right now. I expect a lot of individual investors to book their profits at these levels. But the coins that are becoming available at the market are rapidly being mopped up by the institutions.

The only matter with fee that it becomes expensive is because it's converted to USD. We look at that portion but even before, I guess I've paid the same amount of fees in bitcoin without looking at the value of it on USD.
