It's insane how many scams we're seeing here.
Should newbies be blocked from threading, or would they never win anyways?

It seems uncommon for anyone to fall for their obvious scams anymore, especially with the warnings that are almost immediately posted in their threads, but occasionally someone does fall for it. Perhaps a minimum activity requirement would reduce the number of new accounts posting in the lending section, but I wouldn't restrict them too much.

I think personal responsibility kicks in here. If someone with 4 posts requests a 5BTC loan with no collateral or proof of identity, and you decide to fulfill it, that's your loss.

You guys are right, although I still argue it would make the place a lot cleaner. It is agreeable however that it's not a big deal anyways.

I think  the newbie restriction should be up again and let all the newbies struggle and wait for their positions to get promoted so that they should realize that its not easy to get to the higher position they have to wait and work over it to be able to post anywhere in the forum and when they did most of them will not spoil their profile as they have worked over it and hey by doing that  Atleast we will have a  separate section for most of the craps and scams and magical deals lolzzzzzz   Grin Grin

We should block Newbies from the entire Marketplace subforum, as well as the group buy hardware forum.

I totally agree with that, they should also bee banned from posting in the marketplace.
Who decides if they do or don't ??
There should be a vote where only "Member" and upwards can vote about this.
Thanks,
JT
