Dumping is part of crypto trading. Sometimes listing on a new exchange tends to have no positive effect on the price in the short term except maybe the team just keep buying off the market to create some kind of FOMO forcing holders to hold and even buy more. Sometimes, people just buy the rumor and sell the news. See JULD that rose as high as $0.75 and I didn't sell my bag, thinking it was going to act like Cake, today the price is really terrible with all the many news, but am going to hold while making better money from other projects, I won't want to repeat the mistake of cake.

You should definitely dump quickly any project if you are not 100% - and I mean 100% - sure that is super-solid. This means that you would not take part or dump immediately after listing 99% of the tokens. The key to profit from ICO is to cycle your money as fast as possible, e.g. is better is you can make 10% every day as opposed to making 100% after four years.
The only exception is if you got in at a very attractive price in a project that has an outstanding team.

Dump after new listing it is because the matketing campaign is not good enough, and the project still in early stage ( only whitepapper ), have no real use cases. If the platform is up and running like Sovryn it will going up in this market. Because people buy the token to use it not only keep it before they dump to retailer.

Friends i want to ask about a think that i realy cant explain...there is a token called AME that had an ieo price of 0.02...the token get listed on bithumb globale and the price down to 0.006 (bounty hunters and airdrops)...after the sell off end the price go up and stay a long time between 0.01 and 0.013...the team annaunced a new listing at mxc exchange and everyone expect a big incrass(the token had just 2.5 mln$ marketcap at 0.01) but what really happened is that the price decrass to 0.005 within one week and this make me confused...now the price is 0.08 and i start believing that what happened in mxc in the first days wasnt innocent
Who have an idea about the situation?
It's not only Amepay token that has this experience, you see tokens have various holders and they have a motive of their own when selling and dumping, a token/coin find new investors and there are holders who already made profit and wants to sell, this is the reason why it's very important to see what the project's contribution to the community, and what they can bring to the community and holders, everything lies on what they can contribute.

I am no stranger to AMEPAY, they have a high quality project and quickly capture a large amount of capital from sponsors and investors. Their promotion here is also going pretty well, it seems to last through two bounty phases. After the MXC listing, at the same time that bull run was taking place with the entire market, it got $ 0.1 ATH, which is a pity that I think, it's investor sentiment, not investor sentiment. dumped by the bounty hunter. Based on CMC, it is clear that by the time bitcoin dropped to 44k, there was a huge blow to Amepay. At this point, the AME is quite balanced at $ 0.05. So trust holds and Ame is only in the first roadmap for their platform and product.

I don't know why this is common with new projects these days, large investors who were able to buy during private sales just dump the tokens on traders immediately after the token gets listed on exchanges,it could be because the early investors are already in profit and they don't trust the project enough, that's why they dumped the tokens.
Every investors have their own part of crypto stories, most of them may have been victims of dump projects in the past so they won't hesitate to take any chance that becomes available with any new projects they invest money on

This is the risk of the project that have a decent bounty campaign reward, it was 10 million of token, here is the link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5279528.0But this is actually showed that AME project is a real project because they have delivered the payment. Im sure they will maintain their token price in the future or not impossible to buyback, the project has been only few months from listed on exchange.

Bounties can be tricky at times, when dumps happens the project might find it extremely difficult to stand on its feet again, AME looks good to be honest, way better than Shiba inu and other meme coins floating around in crypto space due to hype this days, AME have something good and useful to deliver that's where it stands out among the rest

It's not just AME that experiences a dump after listing on the market. however, many altcoins have experienced the same thing. Such a situation occurs if the project holds an airdrop program and a bounty campaign. So that many developers distribute altcoins to airdrop and bounty participants after 1 month of listing on the market. and there is also a gradual distribution so that altcoin prices do not dump immediately. So in my opinion, the current AME condition is very good because it is able to pump prices back up after being dumped. Cryptocurrency is always unpredictable. Look at the YOUC price, volume and liquidity is very low even if only exchange support is bitforex. The price is still good but the price was dumped before the bounty distribution. By depending on these steps, we can't predict the future. New exchange means more users and more volume. That effect doesn't show up instantly.

Just a few projects seem it looks good and has potential but many don't have. And one example is the AMEPay project. Very often that after the project listing people will start to communicate with it, buying/selling. But sometimes, that could be the beginning of the most tragic loss of the project, and many of them never have the chance to recover and totally becoming dead. And it finds no big change about this and until now, we can still experience like that.

It is sad but paxmao is right. Maybe keep some of your tokens but if you are unsure about the team and whether it is legit I would prefer to dump and b happy with what it is. More often than not it is the right choice.

This is a common thing with each project since in the old days. People always blamed bounty hunters and airdrop participants with this thing, but not all the time they are the one to be blamed, remember that only a small percentage is being allocated on bounty and airdrop programs. There are also ICO/IEO investors who do this thing.

Bounty hunters also dump but I agree they are not the only ones. Early investors do this a lot too, they will grab a big portion of the coins at a minimal rate and then dump those into the market once they see a small margin because the number of coins they grabbed are big and a small margin will give them huge profits. Bounty hunters at least have worked for their coins so in my opinion so they deserve to cash the coins whenever they want, it was either the mistake from the creators to spend too much for bounty or they should have planned better. You cannot expect the bounty hunters to work for weeks and months and then have the patience to hold the coins for years.

UNISWAP had a massive dump because they gave away a lot of free coins as well but look they recovered so nicely and trade at a much higher price than before. Bounty participants are human and if the project owners can convince them that the tokens they are given are much more worth than an initial listing price, I am sure they can hold for long term. Some projects have a big wallet so they will just buy whatever is being dumped into the market and will later on slowly sell back to the market once it stabilizes.

No one can predict the situation. AME is running a successful Bounty the team is working hard on advancing the AME token. Fluctuating prices are common. my advice, if you trust the AME token then you better hold it and wait for it to reach a new ATH, especially the AME token has reached ATH where the price reaches $ 0.15
It also depends on the trust bounty participants have in the project. I mean you cannot force them to not sell their coins but at least you can do some meetings and sessions to explain why holding will bring value in the long term. But, unfortunately no devs find time for such an initiative which eventually result in heavy dumping once the bounty rewards are paid out. Some projects have a big wallet so they will just buy whatever is being dumped into the market and will later on slowly sell back to the market once it stabilizes.
Yeah, this is how everyone must take care of their own coins; if devs are not buying their own coin or token, then who else will buy and keep the prices up. Only few times they need to do and then investors will get confident and will keep buying all the times which will definitely lead to greater stable values.

Which is common from those developers who have a good initial capital, they are capable of buying back those cheap coins that being thrown inside the market and let the value of their coin to grow naturally. From that point of views those project who can't take the heavy loads of dumped sooner or later will be abandoned and be forgotten. Always place yourself to a much safer side, knowing the development and who's behind the project will help you to decide whether to invest and hold or quickly ride and try some luck to allow you to earned decently.

Cryptocurrencies can generally react differently to exchange listings and that a lot to do with the community and how they view the project. If a community believes in a project the price will most likely go up after listing news on a good exchange because people will be buying more of the project's tokens.
But if the community do not believe in the project and everyone wants to jump off the project before the price dumps, chances are that everyone will sell at the same time and the price will dump. However, looking at coinmarketcap i can see Amepay has recovered and done 2x the price during its ICO stage

A coin dumping immediately after listing isn't necessarily a bad sign, some coins can remain undervalued for a long period of time before eventually reaching for higher prices in the charts. What is important is that the project team keep working on their product even if the price dumps in the chart
