Amazonas Bank Alliances Partnership

We have great news! Universal Coin International has formalized an agreement with Amazonas Bank in Ecuador, a regulated 45 years old bank in Ecuador for the implementation and licensing of the Utransfer payment and remittances platform for fiat and digital currency!

The bank offers financial and investment services including savings and checking accounts, investments, credits, time deposits, credit cards, mortgages, and commercial loans. The bank is a pioneer in introducing auto loans to the Ecuadorian market.

The licensing of the Utransfer payment and remittances platform is part of Amazonas Bank's strategic business objective of digitizing all of its core operations in response to the pandemic, to clients’ needs, and to make the bank more competitive all over. Utransfer, will allow Amazonas Bank to offer digital wallets, cross border payments from the US to Ecuador and from Ecuador to other countries as the needs of its clients, both commercial and individuals, may require.

Furthermore, through Utransfer, the bank clients will have access to automated prepay card purchases and recharging without having to visit the banks’ branches. The bank can offer multiple services and products to its clients as well.

Complying with its promise to promote cryptocurrency mass adoption, UCOIN is expecting to begin offering cross-border payments and remittances from the US to other countries with a special focus on the Hispanic, Indian, and Asia communities both in Crypto and fiat currencies.
