Unnamed exchange has been closed for quite some time, what are your chances of bringing a successful case against him? If memory serves correct, Tillkoeln is German, did you file the police complaint in the country he lives in or some sort of EU wide complaint?

I filed a police report and, as far as I know, the investigation is still ongoing.

Yes, he is from Germany. I think his real name even appeared in several places. If the investigation is persistent, they probably won't have a problem getting to him. If that hasn't already happened, apart from the fact that his domain has expired, I see that he hasn't been active on Twitter for a long time either.

I would like to hear some results of the investigation here against this scammer.

I filed it in Belgium, but I included proof that he's behind it. Belgian police can just work with their German colleagues for this.

Unnamed Exchange being closed is irrelevant.

I had some recollection of his name and social media accounts being posted here by (I think) a disgruntled victim, that is why I remember members citing his German nationality as well as him being a university student.

I hope the police in your country remain proactive and manage to take steps that result in you getting your funds returned to you.
