Man, you know your service is soooo fuked ...when a major influencer like Elon Musk trash talk your App to his millions of subscribers. It is even worst if that person has extensive experience in the finance and payment system scene. (He only co-developed the software that was sold to PayPal and made a massive impact in the payment industry) 

The guy can hire a army of developers to crush any competition out there, but a few words does even more harm. It might even have been a strategic move to give him a reason to do that.

Elon has just warn people about the main and the most important thing in cryptocurrency world. In the first time bitcoin planned, it is build to urge people to be their own bank. If you saving money on crypto and still need a third party to make it safe, then it's not your own bank.

This is what Freewallet is exploiting, they know that newbies are easy to manipulate, and with their marketing, they can easily deceive newbies who are not doing enough research on what wallet to use and how to use it, the first assignment of newbies should be on how to educate themselves properly on the right use of a wallet.

As their website's domain has wallet google always takes this as a big factor when showing results on the search engine especially if the user is searching with crypto wallets.
Even there are a lot of negative reviews even on trustpilot or I say any review sites google still showing their site as relevant.

At this point, Elon Musk was aware of the service that has on the Freewallet app.  And that was right, their app really sucks, it might be considered as a trap for newbies who wants to hold Bitcoin but unfortunately, they are one of the next victims of the said app.  Just because they selectively scamming people if they saw to have a disadvantage regarding the KYC part.

At least Elon Musk contributed awareness to those newbies out there to avoid using this Freewallet app for storing Bitcoin.  How shame on them, I don't know why they are still running a business even though they know that they avoided for most who already know them.  That's the response of Elon Musk is a big slap for them.

His account was suspended due to suspicious activity. Many accounts are, as a matter of fact, and if followed by a support ticket - we resolve the issue within a day. We do it faster than banks do. Our security algorithms worked perfectly and instantly paused the suspicious activity. If somebody lost their funds because algorithms didn't work - that'd be a real problem. We are open to explain what happened, but we can't share any personal data for obvious reasons.

Do it faster than banks do? WTF but there's no surprise there since you are also a custodial wallet. Who cares about your security algorithm when a true free wallet shouldn't be locking user funds out of mere suspicion in the first place.

Unless you can show us a source, we don't even know if he actually still uses it; all we know that the issue was fixed. It's probably a safe assumption that he immediately withdrew the coins after getting a feel of the shadiness of that wallet.

I'm pretty sure he stopped using them already. Why wouldn't he when he called out the app, said it sucks and that you should own your private keys?

to whom your talking to elon? why will a rich and famous guy like him will do a suspicious activity .
 are he willing to risk his reputation for a crypto ? and why this issue happen to many more users  .
that means there is something wrong with your service  and last but not the least is his tweets are about private keys  not algorithms or any concerns but not all custodial wallet sucks and there must be a reason why they work like that but we arent force to use this type of wallet .
