I have been mining rvn coin for the last few weeks and am looking at getting a few more cards. I found a Pandaminer b5 with 7 rx460s 4gb in. They are selling it at $500, so not expensive. I can't seem to find any reliable hashrate numbers for these cards on kawpow. I have free power at my workshop so that's not an issue. But I don't want to buy a paperweight.

Any help will be appreciated.

470 GPUs are fading away too as they are power hungry and not a very good choice for those who don't have free electricity, since you have free electricity then you can proceed but nvidia cards are far better

Rx460 4gb can do 11-12 mh on ethereum and that means you have to use lolminer zombie mode and also use the PCIe x16 slot for each cards too, another coin you can mine is beam but per single card you will only earn 0.63$ compared to 1.38$ on ethereum
