For casino games that would be an accurate ratio but when it comes to sports betting luck won't be as high as 90% since you can choose the games you bet on.

Being competitive while betting is actually a very bad thing financially because we may forced to bet more and more beyond our limits when our opposition is doing it but the financial status can be completely different on both the sides.I am also used to bet on my own and never wanted to be competitive with a stranger, sometimes it is acceptable when we are gamble with out friend gang.

While you have a point there, being competitive doesn't always mean you have to bet more since there's several contests that only requires a one time entry fee like the one OP is currently participating.

I am definitely a lone bettor now, I used to chat with people and that made me stay in the casino a lot more, back in the day chat places weren't 100 message in 10 seconds type of places and we talked with friends and basically it was the same group every day and we were having fun and this caused me to be there almost every day, this is why I decided not to do it anymore, now I am focusing more on things like just gambling and going away, if I stay there even when I am not gambling that would hurt me a lot more and that is why I do not think that it should be there for now.

This doesn't mean that I would not talk with some people, I would still talk with them if I know them or if they are saying something that gets my interest, but I do not really gamble in group settings that well, not even poker, I just gamble all alone and feel better about it.

Playing as a competitive one is fun and it satisfies me whenever I got prizes, whenever I and my friends are sports betting then that would makes me a competitive one not just a selfish thing but a competitive one to win the sports betting, it would be more fun if they would win as well. competitive is in its word to compete or to join a competition , we dont boost our competitive spirit when we play alone but it will get boosted if you join a competition and you try your best  .

I try not to be competitive on gambling since it could results to unnecessary losses when you're constantly comparing your results to other people which you don't know them, but as long as you're on the safe side and you're not invested too much in it I think you will be fine either way.

The fact is the more competitive it gets, the more emotional it will be and you don't want to get feelings involved in such an addictive entertainment such as gambling, so at the end it's just a matter of how much money you invested in it and whether you're confident you won't go out of your way and start gambling with the money that was not intended for gambling when you feel you're behind someone else in terms of winnings.

I've been betting for a lot of years I don't remember when I start actually but again its better if we have engaged in the thing we love which is sports betting also I can add e-sports betting because it's the same with the also right now this is the most popular fewer interactions with another player just through the online world.

I guess it is much quite exciting playing with other competitors than just playing with your own, on your own matches. I guess from here you can develop your skills and tactics on how to beat them, and also fron here you can learn which strategies you have that need to retain or the one that need to change. For me, playing with your own was enjoyable also but you only limiting yourself from the fact that you can explore more about gambling or betting.

I used to be a competative one back then whenever me and my friends are making bet and I really like how it is.
We could really know and learn some of their point of view why would they pick the team or fighter that they would bet on.
I only bet on the team or fighter that I know and it is good to have those kind of talk so you would learn more.
But due to pandemic we rarely hang out and talk about it we got busy on our own lifes.

Its good to have some friends that have the same interest in gambling because at moments,  you can help lift one another and share insights regarding different bets that you have made. In a way, you could try and spice up your friendship by seeing you can make the most winning bets within a month by trusting his gut. Having the ability to bet on it can raise the morale between friendship because everyone will be scared to make a losing bet.

What strategy is working and what not and then you put you think caps on in each and every match in order to get the best of the points in that coming matches and also to move ahead in the contest. It’s challenging but you feel good when you see your improving at the end of the overall contest.

That's the good part of it, knowing that in each events you are getting familiarize and sooner or later you'll be able to find yourself building good system to enhance your chances.

It's interesting as there are many competitors who happens to have the same intent in winning the competitions. Very falttering once you able to bring yourself at  the top spot.

For a long time I have liked to join a competition or tournament run here on bitcointalk whether it has full sponsorship or not, because as far as I can remember that tournament initially had no sponsors but this season Sportsbet became a sponsor. So, usually I will only look at what kind of games are used in the competition, because I will only join if it is a game I like, such as sports betting and dice because so far I think those two games are the most often in competitions or tournaments here.
So, as long as it's a bet you like and you are used to doing it, then I don't think you need to hesitate because winning and losing in a competition is a common thing and you have to be aware of that.

Is about having fun, so for me is more fun when you play with others, whether that is in a competitive league or, my favourite, with friends while watching a game. The key to have fun is too keep it a game and not getting "to hot" in your head. Remember that, after all, they are friends and only momentarily rivals.

Competition are always fun and entertaining most especially when you're in a prediction/betting tournament. It will surely challenge your inner "sports analyst" abilities. I have never done much of these kind of gambling tournaments. I remember only twice or thrice have I tried, but all I can say is It can give you mixed emotions like it was fun, challenging, disappointing (when your team got upset/losses), and pressuring as well. Everytime you lose, It'll make you strive to come up with a better game match up analysis.
However, I had fun betting on my own as well, without getting pressured looking at the tournament ranking lol.
Although, some people really love challenges and that's what motivates them to continue analysing games and placing bets.

I’m definitely a lone bettor. I do it to have fun. I think of it as entertainment and nothing more. When I watch sporting events it just feels like you’re on the team in a strange way when you’ve got skin in the game. Gives you a reason to celebrate as well. Who doesn’t like ordering a round for the bar after a big win knowing it’s paid for by the team.
