Do you think there will ever be a time when Ethereum will stop following Bitcoin? The time Ethereum goes up in value is because Bitcoin goes up in value. In the future, will people look for Ether first before Bitcoin? Or will it always be Bitcoin's sidekick

What makes you think that Ethereum price is always following Bitcoin price ?
If we look at the price of bitcoin, it has increased from the old ATH(All time high) (year 2017 end) which was around $19k to $57k currently, or it has already gone 3 times from 2017 price. On the other hand, Ethereum price has increased from $1.3k to around $1.7k currently, not even 2 times from the its old ATH.
This is clearly shows that Ethereum price is not following Bitcoin price in my opinion.
