I gave up on my coins despite holding them for many years,,, thinking to just wait a few more months and wait for ETH to make a new ATH again before just letting go of all my coins. The worst thing is I bought them with BTC in the past so I lost even more money now that not only my alts are not at ATH,,, BTC has gone 3x the ATH:)

I really hope so, I’ve invested in some altcoins and have been slowing increasing it’s value nearing ATH currently so I’m guessing it is really alt season now? I have been hodling SC and Digibyte for 4 years now and hoping for it to reach at least a new ATH of around $1 value for each coin; wishful thinking that is.

What happen then is just a flash switch of investors decision, altcoin season usually happens after the bullish market is over, the market blood bath and then it will be altcoin season.
The reason why it was called altcoin season is that the altcoin market trend is what determines the whole crypto market's bullish momentum.

^ Because the fact that as of now altcoin was depends on the dominance of BTC and you are right, we are already in altcoin season.
I did not see any sign that when BTC was down altcoin will up, BTC and ETH are almost the same have terrible fees, they are the leading coins and I think the opposition movement against them will not happen. Probably those who increase more than 50% were in manipulation altcoins, it most likely they are on pump and dump. Nevertheless, this is my perception, we still don't know what will happen next.

I can't really see the season coming in green for the alts, in fact, many projects that were supposed to be authentic have not yet emerged, they have all the conditions to do so because bitcoin is in an uptrend, if ETH has grown so much from price and the alts no, it is strange, I do not know if it is because of the number of new buyers and investors in BTC.

In 2017 we saw the highs rise rapidly when bitcoin was on its way to $ 20k, whatever alt that came out went up a lot in price to almost 10 times, I think new investors don't see the alts as a haven to protect from BTC dips, It may be being replaced by new Defi-based projects that have high market caps, it is as if we are experiencing a Defi-based ICO season. The coins they show in OP, should be at 1usd each at least, if they have risen in price but not as many expected, I think the hand of the old whales is still missing.

For BTT, when observing its graph in tradingview, it is observed that it has been a great pump that has increased its price, although this coin came out in 2019 it has very little history to predict exactly what may happen, however it has had a increasing volume.

The prices of top altcoins have been pumped up for quite some time. I think now is the time for the second and third hundred from Coinmarketcap. I hope the price of Bitcoin will be stable now, because it will definitely help increase the price of altcoins.

If this REAL alt season starts, of course, even on shitcoins you will be able to earn a lot. The problem is when it will start and whether there will be any altseason during that bull run at all. The entire market is pumping and we have seen many coins touching their all time high valuation and do you need a third party approval to conduct business  . Whenever there is a pump in the market, the investors are investing in the token market is because they knew that they could reap the profit in a short period of time and you really do not need an influencer to understand that  .

That's right what OP says, nowadays most altcoins  pumping and shitcoins  also follow, this is certainly  because  they also  want  to  make a  profit

I hope you can see still patient to wait for the increase of your coins because I am sure that it is just a matter of time before the bitcoin and altcoins will have a new ATH after the last ATH.
You are not alone because I am still holding my coins and not selling at a price now.
This year can be a good moment for the altcoins to increase and have a bull run after it is at the lowest price for some years.
So it will not be a problem to wait for more as we can sell it at the highest price.

Altcoin has grown much slower than bitcoin altcoin has not broken its highest record like Bitcoin and they have not pumped in very high prices so it seems that altcoin season is going on in the market currencies will be pumping huge and investing to keep prices down is the best time to hold on. If you don't hold it now you will be disappointed if you pump it later I am with altcoin and the price will go up.

That's always the case and people will always expect this from alt markets. Yes, you see incredible x100 growth in a few coins, some even x1000 but these are all very low market cap coins that won't last long. If anything they just rush to fill the void left behind by failed altcoins or ICO projects.

Bitcoin doesn't need that gap filled:)

I agree, I have always said the same thing to people and they do not care or they just ignore. Last time it happened altcoins were low and bitcoin got high, when bitcoin reached 15k+ price ethereum was still around few hundred, it went to 1.5k after bitcoin already got high, this year it is different, ethereum has nearly 2k ath now and it is already above 1.7k and increased over 10x during the same period bitcoin went 10x as well, it used to be "bitcoin increases first, altcoin increases later" but this year they all increased together, look at how much bnb increased just in the past 3 months.

So that means we are doing fine, there is no alt season anymore because everything goes up together and goes down together, there is no first and last there is all together movements. This is why I do not think that we will have alt season but we can still see it go up all together.
