This user is spamming all around the forum to elicit scam. Appropriate punishment should be given to such scam spammers. Out of four topics he had created, three are spams (copy and paste) and unwanted.

Probably isn't good ground for anything.

Scams aren't moderated and they have 13 tags.
It might be possible if vod has the bpip account to say it's impersonation.

But also, scams are generally unmoderated here.

I even changed probably because that is a doubt, but undoubtedly, the account belongs to a scammer.

This account do not belong to reputed member of this forum. And it is not about scam, it is about spamming which is against the rules of this forum.

That account bpip.org is not affiliated with me, so I will tag it.

May I suggest you edit the topic title, readers who do not look into it could mistake the title to mean that the website bpip is scamming people and not a forum member with that username.

As scams are generally unmoderated, leaving a negative feedback and ignoring the member would protect you and possibly others from their antics.

I think even such usernames should not be allowed. It shows his only intention to join forum was to spam his website or ask for money and scam someone.
Forum should have some stricter policy for choosing username.

Afaik, the only username which is restricted is any related to Satoshi (and for good reason). Any other form of restrictions would need the original user to announce that they are or aren't related to the account, which would need a bit of proof, for some reasons I think such an approach may not be sustainable;
• The forum allows privacy and freely allows members stay anonymous,
• Scams are not moderated, members would have a false sense if security such as what social media platforms do with verified profiles

That user should be monitored for we know giveaways stuff usually leads to scamming. There are many of these kinds of trick here but only new comers or new to this trick will fall for it. There are really people or users probably will fall for it because news in internet can widely spread or broadcast to millions of viewers in just one click. Bitcointalk forum is not an exemption when posting a thread or posts and broadcast it to the internet. The forum is connected that can look up too by google search engine.

Scammers are everywhere in the forum. The user must be monitored and to be reported when violating the forum rules or when there is a high ground for tagging with red trust. It is good to exercise the system that the forum has provided to keep away from the scammers and let everybody be aware of those users that they had been negotiating.

For sure, scammers will find it hard to scam when they get tagged with red trust. It will be about time that they will no longer scam and to stop doing fraud activities unless they create new account and then start all over again. Howevet, creating new account and starting over again is not an easy task. This is why suspicious users should be reported.

I reported a few of this users' posts and now they are banned. Kind of wonder who they are an alt of -- somebody tagged by Yoshie I would imagine.

Whoever they are, they can now be banned for ban evasion.

If the reason this account was banned was for being a dick, I would be perfectly fine with that as well.

I reported a few of this users' posts and now they are banned.

I reported his last posts too and am sure many others did the same, hence the ban.
In fact, he did us all a favor by breaking the rules and giving us a legit reason to report him otherwise, all we could've done is giving him more red tags which he clearly doesn't care too much about.
