Prophecy - "community driven" bounty NOT PAID

For many hunters, it's natural for bounties to take their time to pay up. Most at least keep updates or some form of communication. Prophecy team goes above and beyond by completely blocking and banning anyone who ask question to them in chat and now directly.!(DMS/PMS) As a seasoned hunter I know to not ask bounty related questions in main chat as it's seen as spam so we go through Pms and it takes time to reach people understandably i waited months. I say nothing okay it's fine... but they start blocking and banning people, finally the break and decide to pm a manager, no response, instantly blocked. So here we go, scam accusation. they didnt pay me and many others, and proceed to slander hunters in chat.

One of the managers even claims "all bounties have been paid" in that case, the bounty manager ran off with our funds? either way im flagging both of them. Feel free to support me.

Looks like the Bounty Manager was online about a week ago. Did you try to send him a private message? What did he say about the matter?

You are also talking about flagging the accounts and requesting for support , but I am not seeing any flag created.

I also took a peek at the Telegram group. It's just the usual bland chatter about moon, mars and millions. One interesting thing I noticed was that The APOLLO guy deleted some of his posts that you screenshotted, specifically the one about the bounty hunters being paid.

Removing the bounty chat content that's how far they could go to not paying bounty hunters. Why didn't they said that before they started the campaign, they wasted a lot of time to promote them and without gratitude of paying which to the token is worth just $0.05. Bounty hunters could really destroy the future of this project if they intend to. This is not the kind of team that will get successful.

Some bounty does not want or allow that you talk about the bounty related issues in their main telegram group and have separate telegram group for bounty related questions. If you violate this rule, they may ban you from telegram.
However, if they ban you without any rule violation, they will probably scam and wont pay tokens.

No matter if the token in question is a shit coin, the bounty hunters deserve to get those tokens in their wallet. They have worked for few weeks and months for the marketing of the project.

Exit scam and run away investors money or classic excuse bounty hunters will dump the coin price after distribution. This is similar as payaccept project when the bounty is successful, they didn't want to pay the hunters.

@OP I think you need to be sincere and move on from this bounties, the chance to pay you is low. You might want to join a bounties with reputable campaign manager (but it's rarely)

Yes I did. No response from anyone, I warned them I'd do this.

The free advertisement I guess and they want the sale not getting split to the people who did most of the job for them, but considering most bounties right now, it isn't the same as back then when almost every bounty pays good amount of money, most bounty right now are just there to be advertised and leave the people who helped high and dry.

The bounty company did not pay its bounty hunters. Is this really rare? I don't see any team members. Their white paper is not available, they are blocking payment questions. Reminds me of something? The behavior pattern for the most common scam projects?
Today it is fashionable to invite everyone to wear thick leather. Get it, OP. If you are already a bounty pro, I think you are no stranger to being unpaid.

It's simple really; from what I could see, tokens in question (PRY) are erc-20 therefore on Ethereum blockchain, meaning fee for sending those is at least few dozens of dollars per bounty hunter. Since they have approximately 1000 bounty hunters (give or take a hundred or two), it would probably take them 40,000-50,000 USD just to distribute them to all bounty hunters. No wonder that they are looking for ways to reduce those numbers.

So yeah, even sending worthless shitcoins ain't as easy as it used to be

Maybe they wanted the clout and have their token get recognized and knowing that they don't have money, they resort to running a bounty campaign that promises payment and when the credit is due, they will ask for the hunters to wait because the payment is delayed and then they will do a disappearing act.

$PRY is listed on UNI v2 which its value is $0.04. The campaign had ended last year and I think the team should really be sending their tokens, after all, they have done their job and allocated a percentage for its marketing including this bounty campaign.

Try posting the reason why the team has yet not send the tokens. You are the only one who had a close relationship with the team bridging the bounty hunters. There has got to be a reason to help them understand otherwise it's going to escalate.

The easiest way is to say that: I am innocent, I do not know anything, and I am not responsible for anything. Have you decided to become the manager of this bounty yourself? Have you been paid for the services? If so, then you also represent the team and are a member of it. And in case of non-payment to the bounty hunters, you support the team of a project that is fraudulent, thereby you support this scam.

Being hired by some project to do bounty/signature campaign doesn't automatically make you a part of the team. They are just hired to do the job and that's about it, same as we are hired to wear the signature. As simple as that.

What it counts is how you behave after it turns out to be a scam, imho. But its also true that huge majority of bounty managers don't do proper due diligence which usual ends up like this. Rare are those that care enough to go that far to even contact someone else and ask for 2nd opinion about some project.

I can't imagine how even you become a bounty manager who responds on accusation thread almost after a month of getting the tag. nutildah tagged you on 2021-03-21 and you reply on this thread today, how irresponsible are you and do not care about the red tag. What does mean nothing to take care of by you? You are the one who is responsible to distribute bounty stakes, either distribute by the team or by you. You have to make sure your hunters should get paid. You are directly connected with the team, you can't just skip by saying I handover spreadsheet to the team and my responsibility ended. Otherwise, why hadn't the open accusation against the Prophecy that they aren't distributing bounty rewards?

You are spreading the word about a project and most probably a few investors would inspire to invest in that project. Just imagine if a project turned into a scam there is your responsibility as well. Same like choose the worst bounty manager would lead your bounty scam. let alone talking with the team, i wasn't even joined the telegram channel. all they did is telling me to do the bounty and after the bounty campaign end i sent the spreadsheet. that's all. that's also why i posted below my thread that "All the rights about this bounty is from the team, I only help them to post and managing this bounty." because i never engage with them

As others have pointed out, the responsibility as a bounty manager (and the project's sole representative on this forum) does not end with the submission of the spreadsheet to the team. Not if the reputation no the forum is important to you.

The very least you could do was inform participants about the current status of the campaign and token distribution. And if you've lost contact with the team, you should alert the community. As far as I can tell, you have absolutely ignored all questions since the end of the campaign almost four months ago. That is not the hallmark of a good bounty manager.

that's because the agreement with the team and my boss did. all i know is that to make sure all of the stakes calculated and give them the stakes. i did answers questions on my messanges folder and tell the that i'm not the one that distribute it. also the team is attacking me by saying the bounties have been paid? wow, are they telling me i'm the one that on fault here? even though they said that they'll be the one that distribute it directly? i don't even know what happen after i sent the spreadsheet.

that's not the point, it's the agreement that we made from the start that they agree there's nothing to do with me after the bounty ends. without that agreement i wouldn't even post the thread. they assure everything about the bounty and responsible for it
