Uniform Fiscal Object (UFO)
IntroStarting from 2017 new members joined UFO team to work on different issues, such as use-cases, applications and promotion.
Keeping the project going imposes some obligations to the decisions made by the team. Due to it, after the long-going internal discussions the concept of UFO project was partially rethinked. The common decision in first place was to make the coin more friendly to crypto newcomers, to ease their learning curve. In the same time development is focused on keeping UFO up to date with Bitcoin updates, and research is going on creating robust real-world applications for the UFO blockchain.
More details are available in the article.The team is built of believers who are not only taking the responsibility for the decisions made about the future of the project, but who also cover the costs of UFO project: promotion, listing on exchanges, community iteraction, research and development, and payouts to people working full-time on all of these.
While going through some changes, UFO project keeps following the idea of decentralized development where everyone can take part in the project. UFO is completely open for new ideas and support from the community.

Since early 2018 the Uniform Fiscal Object // UFO coin has been going through substantial changes.
Thanks to
Peter Bushnell, a leading developer of UFO coin, the UFObject Core wallet has been continuously updated to follow the most recent version of Bitcoin Core wallet released.
Current UFObject Core wallet version has all softforks activated and support Atomic swaps (BIP65) and Segwit, also compatible with Lightning network.
With the collaborative effort of the renewed UFObject development team, we are proud to announce the development of several UFObject related projects.
First of all, UFObject now supports tokens. The Uniform Asset Layer project is responsible for the specialized version of Core wallet which allows to issue, grant and transfer tokens over UFObject blockchain. This allows almost anyone with some technical background to manage tokens (similar to Tether USD). More information is available at
https://uniasset.orgAnother major step forward for UFO was done in late 2018 when the team started the development of the Atomic Swap Exchange - UfoDex. Since May 2019 the public mainnet beta version of the exchange is available at
https://ufodex.ioAtomic Swaps offer a secure way to exchange coins between two blockchains. This means that exchanging UFO to BTC or back is now possible with the latest security features natively supported by UFObject and Bitcoin blockchains.
The team has also put a lot of effort into implementing basic UFO support for open-source libraries used by the BtcPay payment gateway and others, in hope to increase the adoption of UFO as a payment medium.
UFObject Core 0.18.1 is in development.
