I would buy it with Fiat if i were rich, I'm not that crazy to pay with Bitcoin for a new item, that will be obsolete with a selling price that will drop in the future. I'd better keep my Bitcoins for future investments because Bitcoin prices can still double. The Tesla relesed news that they accept Bitcoin as payment is only a joke to make market shaking and Elon will take profit on that, LOL.

who will buy a Tesla using bitcoin, maybe for those of you who have a lot of bitcoin it will be easy for you to buy an electric car, but for now I don't have bitcoin to be able to buy an electric car, maybe in the future I will try, because for now I'm still new in the crypto world.. with me entering this forum, I have gained a lot of experience in this forum..

- In bitcoin, not everyone is rich boss, many are just employees with ambition to earn a little extra money ready for retirement plan and we know what it means, can not splurge with some new toy that Tesla created, such toys were only in vogue during the first few months of their launch and then were replaced while exactly as you say bitcoin is a long-term vogue, sometimes selling in the future is still profitable. At least determined that bitcoin will have a lot of buyback demand but Tesla only has new production and waives responsibility after a few years

Would you buy Tesla using your Bitcoin or you will wait to $100K?  Roll Eyes
Having the capacity to satisfy a want or need, do you get to satisfy that want or need or you just post it forward?

I don't mind using a portion of my bitcoin to satisfy a need now so long as, its a pressing need and perhaps the last resort to fund the purchase of that need is me withdrawing a portion of my bitcoin portfolio.

All I need to determine is, is it really necessary for me to get a Tesla now or its more better to wait. Once I could satisfy answer this and its satisfactory, then its a green. Mind you, it agrees only with a portion and not all.

I support what you said, it is not always about buying what we want but doing it at the right time for there time when we have gone for something that's important than what we want and if this is not the issue, the ATH market season is the best time to buy the expensive things that we wanted. However, initial investment capital needs to be put into consideration.

I don't know the updated news of buying a Tesla car with Bitcoin, but it seemsI don't know the updated news of buying a Tesla car with Bitcoin, but it seems It costs a little more to buy a Tesla car with Bitcoin. So maybe they are not paying much attention to buying Tesla cars with Bitcoin.

As of now, bitcoin is priced at $48k-$49k. I wouldn't, let's all wait until bitcoin reaches $100k, and let's all buy our brand new cars. Tesla is just part of the choice but if there's a better car that would fit into the likes of me then I'll choose it.

They've stopped accepting bitcoin payments due to the reason Elon that mining bitcoin isn't good for the environment.

But there is another news that they're likely to accept it again since Elon has been enlightened again.

When I am spending $35,000 or $45,000 to purchase a brand new car, I am at least expecting a vehicle that I can use for 10-15 years without major issues. But with Tesla, I need to replace the battery every 5 years or so, and it is going to cost me at least $10-15K. I understand that they have developed some batteries which can last much longer. But they are not allowed, since these batteries are prone to overheating and explosions. They need to improve their battery technology.

I'm not going to buy a Tesla. But yes, I'll wait for 100K and buy myself something more interesting. Like a Lambo or a Bugatti.

I think no one can buy Tesla, its too expensive. Yeah you can buy tesla shares but ever since Elon Musk manipulated the market both for bitcoin and dogecoin, i have no interest in his products.

It is not just the battery issue. Overall maintenance costs are much higher with Tesla. So unless you are a radical environmentalist, it doesn't make much sense to go for a Tesla EV. You can get a better gasoline driven car for less than half the cost. The catch here is that gasoline prices are going up and if the oil price once again reach three digits ($ per barrel), then it may burn a hole in your pocket. But if you take in to account the battery replacement costs and the expenses required for maintenance, then it is almost even.

If I disregard the time he manipulated the market, I think buying a Tesla for the environment is a great idea, but it's very expensive, and there are many ways to help the environment without spending a lot of money on that car, and besides, the maintenance is high, parts aren't cheap, and there isn't any surplus on it like there is on the existing cars. If it's $100k, I'd rather hodl it than spend it because the value of BTC always appreciate, it's not worth it to spend until reaching its full potential.

One of main question is is it worth that amount of money? Tesla electric car won’t come cheap, and you can expect to pay over £57,000 for one. So there’s just one question left Is it worth it?

Cheap or expensive size is different for each person, if i have 100 btc it's definitely worth buying a new car $57k or more, but i won't buy a Tesla, I will choose BMW or Audi, now I'm just focused on finding bounties or airdrops that can provide great income and my target is mining bitcoin this year.
The reasons you give are quite logical. and I think a lot of people agree with you.
but if that situation really happened. there will be a tremendous increase in the market. this is related to a real platform that accepts bitcoin as a means of payment. Of course, this will be contradictory if the transaction process is carried out in a country with strict crypto regulations. because we know that not everyone is legalizing crypto. although there is no prohibition.

enjoy your time. and good luck with your planning.

For people who do not have enough money, maybe buying an electric car at such a high price is not worth it.
But for some people, buying an electric car at an expensive price is a value of its own satisfaction.  There is a great sense of pride and prestige from friends, relatives or co-workers.
Tesla is a cool car that deserves to be owned by a conglomerate or billionaire.

Sadly, no one will. Fast forward from the day OP made this post to today, Tesla no longer accepts Bitcoin as a payment method. I find it somewhat bad that they gave us hope for a better adoption and took it right back from us. However, with or without them, they'll always be adoption!

In my country, cryptocurrency buying and selling system has not been introduced yet as the central government and central bank are still working against bitcoin. However, the system of buying Tesla cars with Bitcoin will be introduced in our country soon.

As Elon Musk is thinking of starting to get payments with Bitcoin for Tesla cars again, I wonder how many people will be interested in this. When they did it first, I didn't hear about any people who bought Tesla with Bitcoin. People don't want to spend so much money by converting a lot of coins I guess. They don't want to stop HODLing their coins. So, I wouldn't be surprised if there are not many people still aiming to do so.
