honestly, i don't want to see bitcoin prices go down at this point. I am afraid that the decline will affect the price of the altcoins that we hold up to this point. it's just that, this decline will certainly give us the opportunity to have a lot of BTC or altcoins. however, for now, I don't expect it to drop to $ 10k.

The simple reason why I don't want the Bitcoin price to fall to a price of $ 10k is because I bought Bitcoin for over $ 10k. So if suddenly
Bitcoin drops  to a price of $ 10k, of course I will lose money, I just tolerate the price of Bitcoin dropping to a price of $ 40k. After all,
based on my analysis, the Bitcoin price is unlikely to fall so far to the price of $ 10k, considering that there are enough institutions investing

Seriously I will be happy for the price of bitcoin to reach again at that numbers since imagine this is big opportunity for us to buy a cheap bitcoin and hold for long term, but for thinking that how big the damage will be created for the current holder well I'm bit off since for sure many holders will lost a lot of money so I guess I will be happy if bitcoin will just go stable or maybe pump for more since it could make bitcoin adoption will became more healthier.

But for those who has been hodling a good bag of Btc and constantly buying during dips won't be happy even If Btc will pull back below $40,000.
I think Btc won't drop down to that level again, because a lot of Btc investors have learned from the 2017 and especially this current pump that Bitcoin ain't a bubble that pops and gone with the wind eternally. Thats true, if only they can turn back time and had a chance to buy bitcoin at $3k price that would be a huge money by this time, oh well regrets are always in the end though.

For me I dont want bitcoin to plunge back at $10k price. I dont have plenty of bitcoin like other investors who managed to buy at dip but somehow my holdings are good enough. Though we know high volatile is the nature of bitcoin, its not a pain if the price move downward since its another opportunity for investors to fill their bags again.

Definitely not. $51k is in and likely to go down $50k again. Those who have missed buying bitcoin at the lowest will definitely be happy to see that drop and there will be more FUD again in the market after seeing the price to be down as it is today.
I guess this is already the month that has been compared with the same month last year but this is still way better than that.

I believe we are getting another correction and that's not a bad thing, after all those options are broken (six billion dollars worth) there were suppose to be a bit, it is not a shock, and I think it is quite obvious that we should not be going up today, or maybe even tomorrow. I think whatever it drops it will drop now, after that it will not drop anymore and I believe we are going to make a good difference.

Of course this is just something that doesn't mean that we will make a profit right away neither, I do not expect it to go down much but I do not expect it to go up a lot neither, it will probably not break over 60k anytime soon, and when it does it will be doing much better beforehand, not a 8%+ drop and then a 15%+ increase so that is why I think anyone who buys today should be ready to wait for it to go up for a long time and not right away.

Right now, we see it recover and if it will cross again back to $54k-$57k then I say that we've gotten better and if there will be another correction, those are just easy corrections and not painful anymore as what we've been thinking of.
The price is $53k while we're discussing it as this time and let's see how much it would be as it recovers.

It's not good for Bitcoin to drop to $10k after reaching the $50k high, it's like we are just starting all over again, and those who once trust Bitcoin are now dumping it, and there's also a possibility that investors are losing confidence in the market, and those projects and marketplace have stopped using Bitcoin, something we don't want to happen, I'm ok with $25k but not $10k from a high of $55k.

It had a two different opinion.Being a investors,it's better to see 10k$.It's only to inverse a money.Being a trader of two sides,the next opinion will be the pump.Then only I can sell at good price.So both the opinion is mine.When it happened, I would buy maximum number of bitcoin.

I get all the people here who say "I would be happy if it did that, I would be able to buy more!" and I get that, I really do. However the fact is that we are in a market that moves a lot together and that means if the price falls to 10k, there will be a lot of people who say they will buy, that ends up with selling. I know this for a fact because I know that prices of these things end up going super high make everyone believe in that but the reality is that people are hyping up because of where we are now, not because where we will be.

This is why I think we are going to end up living a better life in the near future, it is going to be high, but if we ever go down, that's going to make the people who are hyped right now scared. I have seen "I wish I had more money to buy this coin" turn into "I wish I never got into this coin" very quickly many times.

In my personal opinion I think it would not be ideal, if Bitcoin falls to that price level it would be losing a lot of ground gained, although now it has many investors and may be representing the purely speculative currency action for "some" It carries a lot of content for those who want to acquire bitcoins that make it very cheap, and although most whales like to buy low and sell high, for the bears, it would be the best option, but it would be a scenario of total panic "before the world.

We would really be having that kind of feeling on where we do start up from scratch if ever the market would really be crashing into that point.

Bitcoin is a unit of account for value in itself - arguably a better one than fiat currencies for that matter.

If you're holding for the long run, it makes absolutely no sense to put an accurate valuation on BTC using fiat. Just think of if the opposite came true - would you necessarily be over the moon if BTC prices went up to millions, but the value of millions of USD had deteriorated so much that was actually worth virtually nothing? Probably not.

Bitcoin will definitely not go below $20k, most likely will not go below $30k either. Small chance is it will ever go under $40k. Under $50k will most likely go at last few times. $20k no way. It was under $10k a lot of time in last 3 years.

I honestly, don't like that idea because all of my stash is in Bitcoin right now but if I had cash on my hand then I absolutely down for sure. Usually, those people who wish to drop it to $10k are the ones who missed the opportunity to buy at a cheap price and everyone likes that. However, the thing is it is possible for it to happen now that it is backed up by big investors which I don't think let that happen unless there will be a massive sell-off. I also don't think Bitcoin will drop beyond $20k, but hey nothing is impossible in this market anyway.

$10 000 has always been a very important psychological barrier, and before that the same thing happened with $1000. People are always weak at such numbers, and that will never change. If you ask people what interests them most at the moment, I believe many would ask the question "When BTC $100k"?

You're right, people say these things, but if 1000 was a real barrier then why didn't we stop at that in 2013. The top on bitstamp was 1163. Then again when we revisited this level in 2017 we didn't stop at 1000 buy 1139, so each time we went 10% above. People like to talk big like 100thousand dollar bitcoin, but when push comes to shove we will either stop far below it or overshoot.

There is definitely truth in what you wrote, because such a big correction would mean that something terrible happened, maybe not exclusively related to Bitcoin, but something like declaring a world pandemic. I agree that there is too much money in the game right now, and that it is definitely not as easy to manipulate the market as it used to be.

We've seen what pandemic news can do to price in 2020, so sure, such events can make us go below expected levels but these drops should theoretically be short-lived.

I think the whole premise of this poll is flawed.

There is very close to zero chance of going as low as $30k let alone $10k.

Even $40k might be rock bottom after "the big crash" after visiting 6 digits later this year.

I think the low price of bitcoin will not increase its value and publicity, as far as I know a lot of people came to know about bitcoin whenever the price reached to its peak, so whenever a thing get expensive its value increases and more people know about it.
