As a noob then you should have these things in mind.

- Dont let yourself fall into others suggestion or simply with those shills and recommendation
- Invest on the project you do seem to be worth of your money
- Lent some time on making out some research
- Its your money so you do have the full right on what are the things should be done.

Suggestion? If you do see that VeChain would be that worth then go ahead but it isnt bad to make out some investment

I hope you were right about your decision coz for that $200? You are making yourself wasted. Yeah, $200 is just a small amount at this time, most of the altcoins are increasing, what you can buy with this amount? And why you just realize entering crypto during this time? We are already in the bullish season and, to be honest with you OP, this is not the best time to be here. Not to discourage you but I'm not really confident that you are trusting yourself in here.

Just a piece of advice, Maybe you come back here when the bullish season has ended so you can buy a lot of coins with that $200.

Vechain is being pumped very strongly and I think it will have a correction, buying Vechain at this point is very easy to get you into FOMO.
I think Vechain cannot reach the price of $ 1 within a few weeks and should not invest in Vechain at this time.

when you look at returns you need to consider risk. when you look at the potential risk-adjusted returns, it's obvious you should just be holding Bitcoin and maybe some  other coin with a significant network effect

if you're getting bored with bitcoin's volatility you can use leverage, which is effectively the same thing

if you do hold altcoins you better decide where your exit points are before you buy them

The OP is asking for opinion about vechain and harmony. Not really the highly suggested ones in this forum. At a current price, vechain is only 9 cents and the OP is aiming for $1? About 11x in few weeks? That's very unlikely and right now, the price is going down, instead of going up. Whereas, harmony is also at 22 cents. Though they had a very good price increase last month, I don't think $1 is also on the table here. The OP should check out their development progress and see if there will be big updates coming up. He can diversify his portfolio and use that allowable $200 to different coins.

It is uncertain, we can't expect such a rally to a shitcoins. $1 is far of its reach and I think that OP will be bored waiting for that moment to come and it happens to sell it in no time. Maybe it is time for OP to change his mind and diversify his portfolio earlier. There are a lot of potential coins in the market that could really give back to what he wanted to happen. A wrong choice of the coin is the most reason why we fail and that might happen to OP if he will continue to invest in Vechain and Harmony.

For beginners you should learn how to analyze the market using technical techniques because if you have any amount of money and invest without having a pattern then of course it will hurt you.
so the main thing you have to pay attention to is this. No matter how good the suggested altcoins here, all can do the analysis. but if they can't be sure they will waste their money.

I wish I was a novice from the beginning of the bull market. If you're a newbie, you won't worry about TA, FA, etc. You'll just buy and keep and hold to x10, x50, x100... That's why newbies in the bull market made more money than almost any investor.

With $1,200, you can buy many low coin prices, which has the potential to increase. Vechain and harmony can be the next potential coin, but you need to research more to find if that project has a bright future. I think both altcoins, vechain and harmony, but all of the altcoin and even bitcoin have a risk that you should accept, only by accepting the risk and knowing how to manage the risk, so you survive to make a profit. But if you can search for the other coin, that will be better for you because you can compare with vechain and harmony to see which coin will be potential in the future. But you can not expect to see both coin, vechain and harmony to increase in this week because that will depend on the market itself.

With the many suggestions that have been given by other members above, the OP should be able to have an opinion about the two tokens he wants to buy.
Maybe the OP entered into the crypto world as a result of stories of people who can gain money from altcoins so that you think it can also work on your activities in crypto. If Vet touches the price of $1 then the VET market cap will be $64,315,576,989 (based on the token supply) which will make this token rise and can even beat BNB, the possible price for VET in a week from now is $0,1 or more but will not touch $1 just a week.

Because of its huge market cap, that holds for the price to grow higher. I also think that the Vetchain coin will never go ever that easy and that much more if the altcoin season will be over (soon).
If I were you @OP, I have to choose other coins that have been proven promising and that already have a stable market demand for a very long time. If you don't mind, make a choice on the leading coins including Bitcoin and it can assure you that your money will be safe and it will grow. Well, that also matters how you manage it.

First of all If you're investing in a well established altcoin then you don't need to hesitate much because good and well established altcoins always have higher probability to grow so on this basis Vechain and Harmony might be a decent investment option for you because both are very progressive altcoins hopefully your investment in these two altcoins will be beneficial for you.
