Hi, guys!

I was looking for a BTC mixing service and I liked ChipMixer so far. I was wondering about the fees since the current BTC rate is very high.

As of my understanding, I can do the following:
1. I create 2 BlockChain wallets (A and B)
2. Someone sends me 0.04 BTC to Wallet A
3. I send the BTC from Wallet A to ChipMixer and split it into two 0.02 BTC chips
4. I send the BTC from ChipMixer to Wallet B
5. I send the BTC from Wallet B to my Binance account, trade it for EUR, and send it to my bank account

How much this would cost me? Also, is this 100% untraceable?

Thanks!

Chipmixer doesn't cost anything it depends on you how much you want to donate.

You should pay attention to the transaction fees every time you transfer them to another wallet.

Also, is this 100% untraceable?

If you read the faq then yes it's untraceable.

Probably this what you're looking for, 2021 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites.
It's a full list of Bitcoin tumblers including the fees, the minimum amount, and most important is the official link of the website, because there are too many clones and fake websites of Bitcoin mixers that lead to users lost their fund.  It's better safe than to say sorry.

But first, heads up to this ⚠️ List of Bitcoin Mixer or tumbler SCAM/CLONE websites ⚠️.  As I said above, there are a ton of cloned and scam Bitcoin mixers out there, so better to watch them out.

Also, is this 100% untraceable?
Not sure and not totally, IIRC, but it will definitely increase your privacy which makes them difficult to find.

Thanks for your fast reply! Yes, I've read the FAQ, that is why I really liked the idea. I also saw that the service fee is donation-al. My question is exactly about the network fees. Is this the right method to do it, the one I mentioned above? I have seen that you can "sweep" the chips into Electrom - are there any fees for that? Thanks!

Please consider ]Anonymixer.

We use Native SegWit Bitcoin addresses (Starts with bc1**), which are ~44% cheaper for Transaction fees than legacy Bitcoin addresses (Starts with 1**). There's no minimum.

Exact costs are presented to you up front, before you go ahead, so there's no surprises.

Sending 2 Deposits isn't required, you can space out the time between deposit and coins sent out from the Mixer. Sending to multiple deposit addresses in the same Transaction also works and saves on fees.

Your Coins can not be traced back to you.

You can use this site to determine the current transaction fees of the Bitcoin network, https://mempool.emzy.de/ and use this Bitcoin Fee Estimator/Calculator for you to identify which fee has a faster transaction speed according to what you want, the higher fees the fastest transaction will make.

Probably you mean Electrum wallet and make sure you're on the official website, https://electrum.org/#download, and verify this as the instruction on the site.  Yes, all wallet that supports SegWit address will modify the fees and reduce it to the cheaper one and it varies to the transaction speed.

So, I decided to use Electrum after all, but would I need to pay the transaction fee for the chips private keys import as well? Or importing private keys is free? Thanks!

I have seen that you can "sweep" the chips into Electrom - are there any fees for that? Thanks!

If you sweep private keys that means one extra transaction you may not need to do.
Since Chipmixer gives you private keys, you can import those into Electrum instead of sweeping, thus merging step 4 and 5 into one step.

So, I decided to use Electrum after all, but would I need to pay the transaction fee for the chips private keys import as well? Or importing private keys is free? Thanks!

Sweeping is transaction, hence tx fee.
Importing means you'll have a "new" wallet based on those private keys. That's for free. Obviously, when you'll spend the coins, that will be again transaction with tx fee.

I thought importing and sweeping are the same thing. I meant import, sorry. So, importing the ChipMixer's private keys into a new Electrum wallet is fee-free, then I can send it to Binance, right?

Yes, you import the private-key and you'll have access to the address with the prefunded coins (e.g 0.02 BTC). You won't pay anything to do that since you are not making any on-chain transaction.

From there, you can just send directly to Binance. Keep in mind that waiting a bit before you do that highly increases your privacy, since it makes harder to connect your input (BTC sent to the mixer) with the output (the transaction leaving the "chip" address).

Sweeping is the same as sending the entire chip balance to the specified address, basically skiping the part where you first import them into a wallet to then spend the coins yourself.

That's correct.

I'd advise you make sure you download(ed) Electrum from electrum.org and verify the download: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-verify-your-electrum-download/
This is necessary to avoid malicious software steal your money.

I'd also advise you play around with Electrum (maybe on testnet, with free coins from Bitcoin Testnet Faucets - google it) to make sure you won't encounter surprises when you want to use it with real money.
You start Electrum on testnet with:
Code:
electrum.exe --testnet

You can also try other services such as https://doublemixer.github.io/ which utilise two separate mixing services to mix A - C - D - B.

Their ANN thread can be found here:  Double Mixer: Mix your Bitcoin with two mixers in series  (There's no mention on their website or ANN thread what the fees are - I guess if you're needing to use two mixers, then you're prepared to pay the fee).

I haven't used them myself.

OP, importing private keys into ANY wallet supporting it is free. It does not involve any transaction on the blockchain which sweeping does. Sweeping also confused me in the beginning a lot as I never understood it just means "spending everything in one transaction to another wallet".

Reserve the sweep into Binance:)
