I am using it to test now so I cannot hide it's existence any further.      I am very proud to thank my long term default trust supporters by offering everyone a fast and free image sharing service!

Q:  What is Image Sharing? You think we can be swayed by a different name?
A:  I've often been annoyed by a large image file downloading when I only want to see it once.   Plus it uses bandwidth and disk space.   Most of that space is used to edit that file later, which most people don't care about.   Advantages include ]90% smaller image sizes  and no exif data to worry about.

Q:  What is so special about your service?
A:  I use open source software to do the heavy lifting.   It's currently working for Sharex, but I will add other common clients you guys want.   You press your hotkey, the image is uploaded to Amazon S3 and the URL for the BBcode image is put into your paste buffer.

If a user clicks on your image to comment or get more information, you get paid.  (By Nov for sure)  All ads will be hosted myself and there will be no popups, animation or sounds.

That's all I have right now.   Paid options will include region duplication, OCR recognition included in the buffer, etc.

It's a cool site, i like the design, but i have mixed feelings about the limits, all images must be under 1Mb, which is low, if i make a design and i want to conserve the quality it will be hard/impossible to host it in your server/page.

And i couldn't find a difference between the premium and the free account, in the FAQ we have:

Each file you upload must be less than 976.56 KB in size for free/non accounts or less than 976.56 KB in size for premium accounts.

And

Free/non accounts files are kept for unlimited days. Premium accounts files are kept for unlimited days.

The software is based on Reservo - so if you like the design, thank their authors lol - I haven't worked on any of the design or the terms yet.  Most of it is still boilerplate.  I've been working with them over the last year to my project.  I've been watching https://talkimg.com/ to make sure I don't compete with their features.

My project:

- works with image capture software - you cannot upload a raw image to my site (cannot be abused)
- is not meant to host the entire image - only the viewable part
- does not require any KYC to upload, hotlink or earn
- will pay a CPM (cost per 1k views) to the uploader
- has strong anti-bot measures.  I am working on a one time referral code to eliminate spam.

Once I finish the design (I'm just getting final details from the support staff), I'll post and turn on the registration.  Right now I'm looking for people familiar with Sharex to test.

This is the best part of it, if you have an original image uploaded and you post it on a busy forum like Bitcointalk, that's residual income for you, I tried to register but registration is still off. Looking forward for the opening of the registration
I once used an image hosting service like yours where you could make money from your image some 8 years ago when it was so popular, like file hosting, it was part of get paid to download, This is a good alternative to TalkImg its good that we have two to choose from, Congratulations on this, bro, I'm sure it will be a success.

Registration is now open, but you cannot do anything unless you use ShareX.   If you want to help beta test, you don't have to tell me who you are.  Just make an account and send me a message saying you use ShareX and would like to help test.

After taking the image, the BBcode is in your copy buffer -  you simply need to paste the code here, like this:

I'm not sure I understood this best. Is it necessary to have a ShareX account to use your platform?
Or do you need those who already have experience with ShareX due to better knowledge of the platform and more relevant participation in testing?

Geez, I was just coming to post an update about this. 

It was required to have a ShareX account, but I have now changed it so people can upload existing screenshots instead of taking them immediately before upload.  People are not yet used to the idea of instant sharing, and I think I need to allow the old fashioned upload before everyone figures it out.

I registered, uploaded the image... Some elements do not work, but in general the whole structure is clear and available for use..
I immediately became interested in one question, why register? Of course, this option should be present in order to manage your images in the future, but isn't it easier to lower the threshold for simple uploading and leave registration as one of the options?

I also support this; although there is an option for monetization, there will be people who don't want an account and just want to upload and get the link. Imgur has this option where you have the option to register and upload as a guest. If its possible on your end, we request that this be implemented.

My site is different than Imgur or TalkBB.  I want to be a fast sharing site - not one of the many hosting sites.  I have many features that require registration, such as private files.

I have enabled uploads for non-users.  The images will last for 90 days after last access.  If you want images to last 7+ years, you will need to make an account.

All you will need is your username and password - I've coded the rest myself.

I'm honored someone of your caliber is testing my old programming!  

For your custom uploader, just POST to https://vod.fan/sharex.php

For the multipart form data, just include the names "username", "password" and "output" which value should be set to BB.

Remember in your hotkeys to AFTER UPLOAD - copy the URL to your clipboard.  

I do have a config file to make this easier - just not finished yet.

When I registered vod.fan, I misjudged the acronym (video on demand).   In addition, my services do not cater to this forum so the name vod is not relevant to it.

I'll be moving my service over to a different domain to be used for image sharing.
