I'm planning to start mining with a GPU, I know it's a little, but I would like to try it out.

What was the most user-friendly software you recommend?
I know the cgminer and a few years ago I got to use it. But I wonder if there are any more user-friendly ones.

What was the mining pool that could bring the best profitability?
I was thinking about a multipool, what do you think?

I thank.

Welcome to GPU mining!  Smiley

The most easy software is Nicehash, you can download, put yout BTC adress and the software will test a lot of algos, and will mine the most profitable, paying you in BTC.
(I don't use Nicehash anymore, they are having a bad behavior lately with Phoenix miner devs)

But if you want something more profitable, it's not hard, you can download Phoenix Miner here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.0
And mine in a pool like Ethermine, Flexpool, Miningpoolhub etc

I tested all above and ethermine is the best for me, you'll receive ETH directly in your wallet, or could be an exchange wallet, no problem

Here is a list of pools you can use to mine ETH: https://miningpoolstats.stream/ethereum
Here is a tool to estimate your profits: https://whattomine.com/coins

Actually Nicehash charges a 2% fee for using their mining services in addition to a withdrawal fee from their wallet.

https://www.nicehash.com/support/general-help/nicehash-service/fees

PhoenixMiner charges a 0.65% fee + the pool fee, which is usually ~1% depending on the pool and you can also mine directly to an exchange or local wallet address.

Using the WhatToMine Profitability calculator shows mining ETH on Nicehash is ~10% less profitable on average than mining ETH directly on a pool. You also have the 3rd party risk if you leave your coins in the Nicehash wallet. Nicehash has been hacked before. IMO, Nicehash only makes sense if you want to accumulate BTC, since you can save on the transaction costs and potential tax consequences of mining ETH and trading for BTC

I understand. It is best to mine directly.
I will have to analyze how it is configured.

The annoying thing is to have to be checking daily what to undermine, in order to have greater profitability.
Minerstat, helps with that, doesn't it?

If I want to convert the work done to BTC right away, what would be the recommended option?

The only reason why I still use Nicehash is because of low threshold payouts, every other pools I knew have 0.1 to 0.5 minimum payout which will take me a whole month to reach with my present hashrate power of 92 MH per second, I do agree that Nicehash is ripping miners off, mining directly on pools is way better and more profitable

The withdrawal fee may be boring, but it is a management issue.

I some good years ago, I got to use this:
https://prohashing.com/
I have not had bad results. Is it still viable?
Do you know if it works well with GPU?

Each video card has its own beneficial algorithm. Phoenix miner is one of the famous Ethereum miners.
What video cards do you have and how many are there? 1-2 or more than 10?
I think that now it is more profitable to mine top coins on pools and not work with intermediaries such as Nicehash.
If you do not want to keep track of coin prices and news, then it is easier to use Nicehash.

If all goes well, I should receive an Asus GeForce RTX 3060 Dual OC 12GB GDDR6 in the next few days.
This is going to be my first serious adventure in mining. (I mean, in 2013 I did some tests to mine BTC. It was a pity it was just doing it for 3/4 months, I was getting about ~0.05btc/~15 days at the time.  Roll Eyes )

It will be just a GPU, see how to run the market and then maybe invest more.
