Also when it comes to Japan, we should mention another company that specializes in the sale of used cars, and in 2017 it announced Bitcoin as a method of payment - Japanese used car company Idom to support bitcoin payments.

One interesting fact that some may not have heard of, but at the end of last year the first car in Croatia that was paid with Bitcoin was sold - I'm not sure if it is the first in this area of Europe, but it is certainly the only one I know of.

Elon Musk or Tesla did not start this kind of concept. Even before Tesla or Elon Musk bought Bitcoin and then accepted Bitcoin as payment, there were already a number of car dealers that accepted Bitcoin payment. Tesla came out as one of them later, years after the first dealer sold cars for Bitcoin, among other payment options.

As for real estate, just recently, the real estate company of Rick Caruso which is based in Los Angeles is now accepting Bitcoin as payment rents for its real estate properties. If they are selling, they might also be accepting Bitcoin offers. Also, Real Estate Maximums is also accepting Bitcoin as payment.

I thought Musk and Tesla were the first and only ones and now I see that I have a lot more options to buy a car with my bitcoin, once I decide to sell my bitcoin and buy myself a new car.

Congratulations on new cars. You can buy cars and pay directly with Bitcoin. Which country are you in? Does your country accept electronic money? Japan, USA and India are all countries accepting payment by Bitcoin. If your country lives only accepts cash payments, you can sell Bitcoin to exchange cash to buy cars.

Besides Tesla that keeps its bitcoin and doesn't convert it to fiat, all of the mentioned companies and dealerships use a payment processor that converts the received bitcoin to USD fiat at the moment of payment. Unfortunately, they can't take the risk to speculate with the prices. They have got taxes and salaries to pay.

Take the last 24 hours as an example. Imagine someone bought a car for 1 bitcoin (around $64k) yesterday. The dealership kept the bitcoin. This morning, the coins they received are only worth $61.300. They lost money over night. Tomorrow, those coins can go up to $70k or down to $50k. Most businesses can't that risk.

I think that most cars that accept bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a payment is either the high-end ones or the luxury ones and also it is a pretty expensive than buying a fiat one because some cars are for imports only and that means that it is expensive as hell since shipping fee for a car is astronomically high.

I am quite amazed by the detailed information provided by the opening post, it looks like the opening post has indeed bought a car with Bitcoin
or even planned to buy a car  . So there is so much information in the opening post, unfortunately I don't have enough Bitcoin to be able to buy a car.
But if I had enough Bitcoin to buy a car, maybe I would buy a Lamborghini or Tesla with Bitcoin.

Was planning to Purchase new one but It's fine because i would rather use my Bitcoin to be converted in Fiat for Much cheaper purchasing .

Specially now that the market is really climbing high , No wonder that my Target car now only amounting to almost 1 bitcoin when back in 2020 the value is more than 10 Bitcoin

Good find. One more car dealership in Europe that accepts crypto. We can add Germany to the list together with England, Switzerland, and the company Lucius mentioned that sold a car in Croatia. If in fact that wasn't a one-time deal and they don't accept crypto on a regular basis.
After browsing the site, I can see they offer both new and used cars as well as an option to rent a vehicle. I wouldn't mind owning an Opel. Any car manufactured in Germany is good enough and more than that.

Tesla is always in the spotlight. They get a lot of media attention, so it's natural that when they make such an announcement, it creates a lot of drama and can have both positive or negative implications on the crypto market.

They also have the advertising that made it more ingrained that they are accepting bitcoin for a Tesla. I do love some of the option but I am pretty sure that they are expensive because they are made overseas and I know that cars made outside of my country is much expensive because of shipping. Hopefully we can see one in my country or a motorcycle shop do this too.

This post is really awesome. I have read the whole article and really was pleasantly surprised. I liked that Bob Moore Auto group partnered with Aliant Payments, and this enabled the payments not only with Bitcoin, but with Ethereum and Litecoin also. Of course I would not nowadays buy some car with Eth, even do not want to imagine what the gas will be for transaction. But it shows us that really lots of companies are accepting crypto and the less and less amount of people afraid to do this. It is really good steps!

Glad to know that other than Tesla, there are also some companies who are accepting bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a mode of payment to buy cars or even luxury cars. Due to this I confidently say that the adaptation of bitcoin or cryptocurrency is really worldwide happening.
