My first two ICOs will be Mina and ECO. Good idea?

So I checked some few details with Mina project here.

During their seed round, they sold per Mina at $0.07 while their pre-sale price was sold at $0.15.
Now, they will be doing community sale priced at $0.25.
Though they will be unlocking over the period of 18 months. Still if you are a buyer of this upcoming comm sale, you need to be careful as the earliest buyers bought it at a cheap price.
They can even sell it at $0.20 and still earn profit. But if you do believe the potential of Mina, why not?
As the OP stated, he already did his research. So you already know what you are up to here.
And by the way, browse their wp, and it is a very technical one. So they really did put their effort into this project.

ECO, also is somewhat promising if you are talking about this project - https://www.eco.com/
But you need to dig more about their capabilities and plans. It says, they already received $35M.
Most good ICO projects before were also abandoned after raising high amount of money.

Solid? Huh you are on your own here mate, it's your money your risk so asking people won't change anything, you are only going to get everyone talking about the coins they favour or are holding, as for me I've move my funds out of low market cap coins into top 10 altcoins, I believe it's more safer this way

It's dangerous to invest in ICOs. A lot of people lost money investing in ICOs in 2017 and 2018. I got burned and now I only invest in projects with fair distribution, like RVN and 0xMR.

I just want to say that you are off to a good start and better than a lot of people in this market, the projects that you are directing are all considered as future products for So it will be difficult to buy it because there will be a lot of people like you, and the competition helps the price go. Yes, when I saw the number of investors to participate and the number in this endless queue I was shocked. Sometimes it seems to me that participating in such events every day is going to be harder and harder. There are too many people that wanted to be the luckiest. It is not a surprise, Mina looks very perspective.

When you are investing after enough due diligence then there will be no point of crosschecking your decisions  with this community. Because different people must be having different opinion but after making investment, you cannot undo yous decisions. Before investing if you would have asked same thing then that would be the different case but after invested, I guess you're probably telling people to copy your decision. I am sorry I might be wrong as well.

Personally I have stopped investing into ICOs because of the lots of bitter experience with the many ICOs and their bounty programs. When some projects were not able to reward its bounty participants then how they are going to keep their promises with investors. So, I stopped contributing in ICOs.

It may not be $0.25 but still on the cheap. I firmly believe that the best strategy, above everything else, is to get in early.

ICO on this forum? Or anywhere else? I'm just wondering still ICOs and IPOs are going on? I heard after the boom of IEO, this forum based IPOs are greatly suffering due to lack of investors and early contributors. After a long period of time, I am just hearing about a question on investing into ICO. If you're okay with their whitepaper, team members and roadmap then you may go for as per your decision.

Personally I will not prefer investing into ICOs anymore. Because, I'm just happy and profitable with my long-term holding coins. Why should I risk unnecessarily into new things?

I have not participated in ICOs for a long time because it is difficult to find a good ICO.
If you have participated in these 2 ICOs you should be careful with your investment, do not over trust the promises of profits.

If that is true then everyone should stay away from such projects, most of the money-lock projects of investors are scams.

Good luck if you success get MINA coin on coinlist ICO because price going up more higher price, I think hard for me to buy ICO on coinlst because more than many trader and investor are waiting for with this ICO moment. Maybe buy on first time listing for MINA coin is the best option and hope price still worth.

Investing in coinlist token sales are very difficult and daunting task to carry on. As if the queuing and waiting time to even enter the site isn't enough, we still have to compete with over 200K+ people. I tried it first during Casper token sale and I was unlucky not to get in. I thought I would have better luck with Mina protocol since they reduced the maximum contribution limit to $500. Yet I was still unlucky. I haven't had any lucks so far. Has anybody been able to participating in any of these sales? If so, how did you do it?

- Arriving before the sale to get a random spot in queue?
- Arriving exactly or immediately after the sales start?

I would love to know. Need to find out what I am doing wrong.
