Airdrop is just gambling these days. There are lots of airdrops but only some that paid the participants. If you were participating in the unpopular airdrop and that will increase the chance for you not getting paid by the airdrop creator. This has been happening since a few years ago when there were a bunch of scammers popped out in the crypto market.

There was a time when airdrop was very profitable, of course in the year 2017-2018. At that time many could earn a good amount from airdrop. There are a lot of airdrop coming now but most of them are worthless. Currently there are very few airdrop that are profitable but it is not easy to find those airdrop. Since I currently have very little free time, I do not participate in any new airdrop.

So yes it can be said that I have given up on airdrop.

It is always very difficult to participate in good enough airdrops, because it is almost impossible to find such airdrops. besides, no one knows how the project will behave in their future. I have to say there is a lot of things to consider when we are talking about airdrops, because bounty could be considered an airdrop type of event as well and that matters a lot. For example if there is an airdrop that just gives money away, like "follow us on twitter and join our telegram group and you will make money" that would really not be my thing anymore, I was very interested in that back in the day (not long ago, as recent as October) because I have seen a lot of people who did that, and kept the coins and not sold, and eventually they made a lot of money.

That is what I assumed airdrops will always be, but eventually they became horrible and they became useless, all airdrops I have seen started to worth nearly nothing. That is why I have given up on that, but sometimes there are some bounties that pay you if you work hard, and that still could happen to worth something, still rare but better than free airdrops.

Being a bounty hunter is much more profitable than being an airdrop hunter. I do not need to explain at length the reason, because you have experienced for yourself how you feel when the token you get have no price ($0).

If everyone knows there be a profitable airdrop with sufficient payouts, then everyone will definitely be competing to become a participant in the airdrop, and they will never get caught in an airdrop scam.

Yes, I've given up on airdrops a long time ago. This is hopeless and a waste of time. While it could have been better as I have stated in a previous post I made, most of the projects do not care too much on their community. I remember previously it was a little different and many projects were having a better marketing strategy, by creating a group of core members and selecting carefully the distribution. Lately, only bounties are a way to earn some good coins that I suggest not selling, as prices of new projects begin from very low valuations and end ten to a hundred times higher after a few months.

By the way, one of the airdrops that was distributed lately was from PolkaBridge, which seems to has excellent prospect and I recommend it. It is DeFi bridge between Polkadot and other blockchains. Give it a try.

Like seriously "YES", I quit airdrop and I gave up participating in any cus for me, they are nothing but scam scam scam, even the ones that don't want to scam still use this means to get members to join and subscribe to their group and channel or telegram, and follow them and retweet their pinned tweet on Twitter and in return, they promise you some amount of tokens but even after completing all this tasks, you end up getting nothing in your wallet and their aim of gathering members have been achieved, since 2019 to recently in this 2021, I've participated in more than 100 airdrops but I got payment from none, and I mean none, like zero, no one paid any token to my wallet.

Personally, at this time I never follow or search for coins via airdrop. one of the reasons is, quite a number of scammers are taking advantage of airdrops at this time, especially if they ask for payment to be able to withdraw the airdrop they provide.
however, if there is a potential airdrop out there, I might try to join in. however, no matter how many airdrops you follow, if you don't filter to find quality airdrops, chances are you'll just be working on an airdrop scam.

I have largely skipped airdrop campaigns.  Most ad campaigns are scammed and do not pay even if two or four are successful.  Even if the payment is made again, it is seen that the exchange cannot be brought.  So currently airdrop campaigning is just a waste of time.

Yes, I have given up on airdrops. I look for opportunities which I can be paid for in real time and not for tasks which I have to do for weeks or months to be paid only after all this time and worse, without fixed payment rates. It makes no sense to promote projects in different platforms for so long without the assurance that this effort will be rewarded in the end with a miserable dollar at least.
It's better to spend this time searching for another offers, like micro tasks which pay faster and have guaranteed payments, to earn on the internet than doing airdrops right now.

I would rather do bounty than airdrop. Right now, airdrop opportunities are more on Telegram bots. However, most of them are turned into nothing when they are asking for a deposit as “gas fee”, which is scammy. There are many factors on why that airdrop would turn into shitcoin or an exit scam, and only a handful of them are legitimate like the SFP, TKO, etc. I haven’t done airdrop much right now, because I am focusing on bounty, ambassador works and direct offers from crypto companies.

Imagine how much time you wasted with all those efforts joining airdrops and looking for them.
I bet that is still a lot when combined.
Then, there's the monitoring every day just to keep yourself updated.

They are now gone. You are just receiving dust from them and most of it will just be a stain in your ERC20 wallet. If ever they used that platform.
I'd go with a different approach from now on. Use some efforts working for a coin that is worthy for your support.

I was never big fan of airdrop tbh. I completed few of them that required some social media work and none of them paid a dime so I stopped doing them. It is much easier to just invest some money in your favorite token than sign up for airdrop which may never arrive. I am sure there are some legit ones but I have never come across one that was legit.

You are picking the wrong airdrop. As far as i know there are lots of people have been picking the best airdrop from SFP, TKO, Whirl, and many more. Many of these airdrops have been giving very good reward to the its participants. You should avoid to deal with the crap airdrop that was running by unknown developers.

Agree his not lucky yet to picked the true or legit airdrop. I also participated in SFP airdrop and recieved a good reward. I think the best thing to do before joining any airdrop is we just need to analyze first if the airdrop is legit or scam so that our effort in doing the tasks not be wasted.
