Social media platforms these days are like reactive instead of being proactive when it comes to scams. If I can recall correctly there were also fake Binance youtube channel that creates fake giveaways along with a livestream, and it has a lot of subscribers so you can't really tell if it was fake or not. It was discussed here in the forum as well.

Just report it OP, that is the best thing we can do for now while Youtube's algorithm isn't being in a correct manner just yet.

Even in Facebook pages that are crypto-related, there are fake pages commenting to the legitimate pages' posts claiming that they are doing giveaways as well when you send X amount of BTC. It was made to look legitimate because there were a lot of replies from fake/dummy users that they got their BTCs doubled/tripled. I just reported it twice, because even Facebook claims that the scam comment does not go AGAINST their Community Standards, so I asked for review again then they deleted the comment that was a scam after my request for review for the report.

Can't really trust a lot of social media platforms these days.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Again?

Youtube really don't filter their ads again. That's been like months that's been happening and they've took action for a while but then again allowing it?

Shame on them.

Youtube only cares about the money which they are generating through the ads. They will not care if anyone is promoting any scam. I don't know if its a part of their policy to check the scams before approving the ads. They can't check each and every ad to see if it is made to scam or not. However, in this case it was easy spotable and they should have removed it from the ad campaign.
Yeah, that's what really is happening.

They don't check and don't add certain precaution before approving those ads. I think they're checking it but they're too lazy to check the legitimacy and content of those ads.

A lousy check does the job on their part.

Almost all social media platforms are now fraudulent, they can provide loopholes where they can display advertisements even if they are from Youtube or Google, which have strict security, but they can carry out their compliance in the way they do so it is clear they are trying in all forms of advertising.

Many have reported this ad from various parties and the win has been deleted and will still reappear with a different name, these scammers are always targeting greedy newbies who don't know and just want to be instant, well there I have a lot of full awareness where they can differentiate from a fake giveaway.

This scam is lately very popular also in almost all cryptocurrency telegram groups I ma a member of : from time to time some random user pop in and post what is completely similar to a Elon Mask tweet at a first glance; a closer look spot it's fake link but still the number of these attempts so high let me believe many people still fall for this.
I can understand being a newbie doesn't help in spotting scam but how come is possible that someone may believe the richest man in the world needs your money first to send you back some  Huh

YouTube don't approve any scam videos to be uploaded but the video is removed if there are scam accusations by many users or they find it not appropriate in any context otherwise it is open platform for all.The scammers took undue advantage of such privileges and post fake ads such like this and main the fault is of people who are greedy and easily get in there trap. The hackers just put bait to attract the people and foolish ones get caught. We have seen many instances before also where hackers have tried new ways of scamming people and most interesting part is someone is always the victim before it is discovered.Yes the social media platforms need to revise their security policy like checking the contents of whatever the user is posting although it will require a lot of efforts but AI can help in framing such policies.

Anyway, with any doubler it will not be valid and it will even be nonsense because you are influenced by it, this has become a common thing we have seen before many YouTube accounts were hacked and then appeared with fake giveaways to send 1BTC to 2BTC, that's the thing. impossible if it were real.
I think everyone should be able to keep an eye on this, even if beginners don't know they will understand how this giveaway actually works, I won't even bother to see this ad on YouTube because it's clear they are putting in a little bit of capital for the advertisement to be displayed.

I read that topic but still not sure if he is saying the truth or just trolling! I guess is  he wrote it to make fun of those who fell for this scam.
Looking at OP's posting behavior of that topic I assume he is just fooling around, it's hard to believe what he said was the truth.

The Youtube video has been removed. Did anyon copy the scammer's address so we know how many victims fell for it and if really 0.3btc has been sent to that address?
I doubt there is anyone here get in time to track the scammer's address since the site is no longer accessible and the QR code there is not shown any of the BTC address instead of the site itself.

Fake giveaway. I think their is no method to double your investment within few minutes. When you send 0.3 btc and receive 0.6 btc. So, these are fake ads. And i recommend everyone that don't crypto to anyone. These peoples are just trying to steal your crypto by showing these fake ads
People need to be smarter than this, no one is going to double the amount of bitcoin that you have simply by sending your coins to another address, do they really think that Elon Musk became rich by giving money away to complete strangers over the Internet? Obviously the answer to that is no, and if that is the answer then why they are sending their money to someone that says it's him? This kind of scam has been very common in the market and even the smallest research would have shown this, so I really hope that no one falls into this but I know it will happen anyway.

Perhaps this is another reason why we see many crypto related channels getting banned these days ?  Because they think that the crypto related channels mostly spreading news about the bounty and airdrops which are fake.
I don't agree that youtube can't filter out the obvious scam ads like this one, with so much filters in place, they should be able to keep the scam ads out of their advertisements.

Too bad to see people falling for these scams in this age where there is so much awareness about the scams and phishing attempts.
I would blame both youtube who allow these type of ads to be published on their platforms and also those dump people who don't research before investing on any giveaway or site.

How Youtube allow this shit? I can imagine tons of people fall for this and actually send him Bitcoin.

Send 0.3 BTC and double it and get 0.6 BTC lmao

https://prnt.sc/11955a9

And youtube appove that? are they idiots?

Too bad to see people falling for these scams in this age where there is so much awareness about the scams and phishing attempts.
I would blame both youtube who allow these type of ads to be published on their platforms and also those dump people who don't research before investing on any giveaway or site.
YouTube without a doubt shares some of the responsibility but we must understand that no one is ever going to care about our coins like we do, to think that a third party is going to be interested in protecting us perfectly is simply too naive, YouTube cares about themselves and we need to take care of our coins and the people that fall into this kind of scam is obvious that they do not care about their coins and think that bitcoin is some kind of magical money and that people are still giving it away in 2021.

Do not send a single satoshi to platforms/people who even ask to double your bitcoins, all such ads are scam. Always care for your assets

The idea of rich people giving away huge sums of money to random strangers is pretty wild to me. These people didn’t obtain huge amounts of wealth by giving it away (unless you’re MrBeast) and society will likely have to wait until these wealthy people die for their funds to be distributed en masse. Very weird to me that anyone would fall for a scam like this. A fool and their money...
