True, RTP for older games are usually higher at ~97% (depend on the provider), and it still has lots of loyal customers. It depends on how high RTP reduction is for newer games, some (or probably the majority, due to slots hype) may still tolerate it for the compensation of nice gameplay.

I personally won't spend much time on old slots, and won't touch slots below 96% RTP. In the end, it's just a game that will make users poor even though the RTP is higher.

To be honest, graphics and animation are what attracts me the most. I rarely check the info page for RTP and such.
Another feature which I always consider when picking a game is the multiplier. If the highest multiplier is less than 5000x then I wouldn't even think of clicking on that game in first place.

The reason why could be because of another factor I mentioned in the poll: the volatility.

It's not about whether the casino offers the buy feature or not, it has to be a feature that the game developers created and introduced into the game. There are various sources that you can seek information from to get a list of such games.

progressive jackpots are not for small players because in its description you need to bet max first before you qualify but you can choose high rtp and high volatility slots because you can earn big prizes on this modes .

I know that both volatility and RTP are important. I generally don't even bother with low-RTP games, that's why I didn't select that obvious choice for me. As for volatility, it really depends on my mood. However, I've always loved visually attractive games like 3D slots from Betsoft or NetEnt's most popular picks. So, that's why I selected that option. And free spins and bonus rounds are also another no brainer I'd say. We all hope to trigger the bonus round and we hope it's an exciting one.

Btw, if someone's wondering why I didn't choose jackpots. Well, I don't believe that I have a chance to hit a massive jackpot and not many progressive jackpots games look good and so I don't bother with that too much. I chose volatility and there are only 3 of us who had the same answer. 
High volatility if I am to choose between the two. I'd like to win big in the long run than earn little by little which mostly ends up in losing more.

For me it's more on the value of the free spins rather than the word because some slot games really have a good free spin mechanics where you're allowed to get some re-triggers and substitute a wild symbol. Seriously, I think any player understands the nature of these free spins and other bonuses. You don't have to be a mathematician and do separate calculations to see that more money is always lost than won. That should be the case but I am not counting on it, many gamblers do not want to take the time to think about what those free bonuses they receive really mean, as you say the bonuses given by the casino are a sign of appreciation and are given away as a way to try to retain their customers, after all if a casino does not give any bonuses and there is another casino that does then it is easy to see which casino is going to end up with the majority of the gamblers playing on their website.

Graphics, layouts, and the game developer.  As the platform’s user interface must be friendly so people would only be worried about their gambling games and not how to navigate the platform. This is too important. Let’s say you have the standard platform of online casinos, but the U.I is very important. It has to be a platform that could be navigated by a 60 years old person.

Jackpots - this applies with the volatility and if balanced, this is a winning platform. I think you are confusing two different kind of free spins. Free spins are often given to newly registered players of a casino as part of a welcome bonus. Those free spins in 99% of cases have wagering requirements attached to them. That means, whatever you win, you'll have to rollover 20-60 times depending on how high the wagering requirements are.

The free spins we are talking about in this thread, are not part of the welcome package. It's those that are usually triggered by scatters or special bonus symbols. Or in some cases there is a special buy feature that takes you straight to the bonus action. Those free spins don't have wagering requirements. What you win is yours to keep.

I think you cannot make the slots provably fair unless they are in-house-made games like the ones bitsler and stake have. Those slots are no fun honestly because they are too simple to play though. I rather like slots from 3rd-party like the doge house, money train, sweet bonanza, and the list goes on. They are much more interesting and fun to play even though they are neither provably fair neither have the same RTP as in-house games.

For me the most important thing when playing slots is the RTP along with the minimum bet amount because some slots have insane high minimum bet like Fat Santa I remember had a high minimum bet which was late reduced. Another thing I seek is feature-buy because sometimes it is boring to chase free spins and better go directly buy them.

Adding a new option to the poll at this stage wouldn't make sense because many users who wanted to vote have already voted. Maybe the results would have been different if that option was there from the start. I also don't think those provably fair slot games are popular among players. I can't remember ever reading something about them and I can't even name a provably fair slot without researching first. Therefore, I feel like it's better to leave it as it is.

The free spins buy feature is interesting. I wanted to use it on the Hotline 2 slot the other day. I had some money on a casino but placed it on a sports bet instead trying to improve my balance. I ended up losing it.
