I shorted and burned out my account last night. I kept thinking that the only Bitcoin was the king of cryptocurrencies until I saw Dogecoin's rise in price.

The rise in price really bring the attention to most people, even those who are not believing with this meme coin
they are now bringing their investment and making some good ride.

I don't know how many Dogecoin Elon Musk bought, but every time he tweeted about Dogecoin, the value of Dogecoin increased unbelievably.

He just keep bringing money and keep more investors to follow him, he's tweets really move many traders mindsets.

I wonder can I place my short order now?

DYOR that's the first thing to do before dealing with this coin.

Dogecoin is not thought to be useful for anything, just a meme, and Elon Musk says he loves memes.

BUT

1. If you want to bring Crypto to mainstreet, it could be a good idea to create a meme around it, to push people to buy it, and create a pump effect, to bring more people to be interested in cryptos.

2. Something created without any goal, left without any control on it, and that would become mainstreet wellknowned and spread, could be a good starting point to create a worldwide adopted money.

3. Someone with a very large amount of money, could finance new development and enhancement on such a crypto.

Neither he is coming on TV, or live in some shows or announcing publicly that he is investing nor he is making lucid statements about it.

All he would do is "conspiracy tweets". For example, yesterday's tweet "Doge Barking at the Moon". That's all guys and just after 22 hours it reached its ATH price and currently trading around it.

If he keeps doing 5-10 more tweets every other week then I don't know DOGE could be surfing around 1-2 dollars easily. This is crazy economy I have ever seen in my life.

Rich people, famous people always have a "standard" in the value of pride, creating sexy.  I believe, this year's Elon has increased attention a thousand times.  This is the second time, Elon has created a fomo to exaggerate Doge's exaggerated value.  Be wary, I'm not confident enough to make money with Fomo.  That could be my weakness.  Lol.  Anyway, in today's strike trend has also created a stage for the artist named MuskGe.

Unfortunately, am not a doge holder and don't even intend to buy or invest in it even if Elon musk promises to be tweeting about it every day, the risk is just too high knowing fully well that doge coin is not technologically backed, it's just a meme coin created for fun, Elon musk might get tired one day and stop tweeting about dogecoin, what happens then, the crash would come and people will loose their money.
But I agree with the poster, rich and influential people have a lot of power most especially when it comes to moving the market, their word anywhere, be it on Twitter, Facebook, television stations or radio always generate money, so this the same power elon musk is using to influence the dogecoin market, I just hope that the SEC doesn't come after him one of this days.

Without the hype there wouldn't be that much money in dogecoin. Elon Musk tweet helped to start the price rally. Then dogecoin become the most trending crypto on twitter. All those hash tag, news and some billboards around the world made it to the moon. But it's hard to say that how long it will last. BTW, I use to be a doge holder and I had good amount of dogecoin too. But I exchanged those coind for other crypto before Elon Musk started tweets about it.

Many people lost to Doge when they entered the derivatives market. Doge is being actively bought in and pushed the price too high, whales are bringing Doge from one ATH to another.
Doge is not decentralized, there is not much development for Doge, Doge's community is not as strong as Bitcoin. Personally, I feel Doge is an extremely large bubble and it will explode soon.

The new pump of dogecoin is a complete surprise to me as it came totally out of nowhere and i was pretty sure that Doge had no more space to grow significantly because it already pumped hard a few weeks ago. But well i was wrong, it seems that a big portion of the people that are completely new to crypto choose dogecoin as their first investment at the moment. I guess they prefer to own a few 100 dogecoins instead of owning 0.001 BTC and of course the tweets of Elon Musk always keep Dogecoin in the center of attention.

I still waiting for the next high price (if Dogecoin can do that) but if the price can not increase more, I will not have a problem because I already take a big profit. Dogecoin is a hidden gem that makes many people happy today because it can sell at a high price, even higher than the last ATH.

I find it ridiculous how this coin keeps on pumping, I get it is Alt season but the rate a which DOGE has pumped is unnatural. It is great for those who are in it but even so there are times when you think if you should take profit or HODL. DOGE is a great example that all TA is not applicable...

It is really not a good thing to learn that people care about rich people this much, it is really bad. Dude is probably not buying himself, he just promotes it, and even if he does buy it, he doesn't buy that much, all he does is tweets about it and people end up buying dogecoin just because of it. It is like if he tweeted any other coin, ANY other coin, it would have gone up.

You know what is the most screwed up part? I do not remember when but like maybe a month ago or something like that, he talked about how "there should be a marscoin" and there was one, a dead one, it worth like 0.00001 or something in dollars, and it skyrocketed 990000% or something, just because he tweeted something like that. It makes zero sense that people would literally put their money into something that will go up only if a rich person tweets about it. That doesn't make sense at all.

Such a coin which have no TA and only pump on tweets may give you profit at times but there is always a chance of a big dump. As the coin pump hard, it can dump hard too, so it is not advisable to invest in this coin. If you are a risk taker then you may try your luck but i will stay away from this meme coin.

The community behind the dogecoin is very strong. You will find many people shilling about this coin on tik tok and other social media. I know people who do not know anything about crypto but still they like and invest in dogecoin as they heard it about on the social media platforms. Also the hype of 1 dollar doge is making people think its real and they are investing blindly in this coin.

And yeah being in the world of cryptocurrency DOGE made it to become a competitive name after it was made and appear its name on the list of crypto right. And i'lI bet it is all about Elon Musk who used to shill DOGe on his tweets. And yeah this only shows or a living proof how influential a rich people are by attracting more people to appreciate the things that they are appreciated too.
