Thankyou for all the advices and help. I am currently installing new SSD card so i will have a lot more space on internal disc. I hope Armory and Bitcoin Core work after that is done.

I hope your SSD is at least 1 TB as Bitcoin Core and the blockchain data will take up some 400Gigs. Anything less than 1 TB may cause space issues further down the line... especially considering that you also need to factor in space for the Operating System and other apps/data etc.

And of course, if you're still having issues after you get the SSD installed and everything setup, then feel free to ask for help Wink

Yes I bought 1TB SSD, I figured it should be enough. After everithing loads I will keep you posted. Thanks Smiley

Hi!

I downloaded the new version of Armory and when I tried to send BTC the send button didn't work. all stayed the same. I also rescaned balance, but I didn't rescan and rebuild databases since I don't know what that does. my Bitcoin Core is 0.21.1 version. I've also put the fee to 200 satoshi, but still not sending. Also my balance still shows 1BTC even though I've already sent 0.02 BTC to test it out when it worked magically. Smiley
here is my log file if you can see where is the problem Smiley

That's the issue, rather result of the issue.
Your wallet still has access to coins that you've already spent.
So in your new transaction, it's still trying to spend that spent coin(s), it's normal for nodes/your node to reject a transaction with invalid inputs.

The solution, I'm now sure but have you copied your previous Bitcoin Core and Armory database?
Try to run Bitcoin Core and see if it will start/sync, if it's good, then the issue is in your Armory setting.

And are you sure that your bitcoin core's datadir is "C:\Program Files\Bitcoin"?:
Code:
2021-09-01 15:19:38 (INFO) -- ArmoryQt.py:1891 - Setting satoshi datadir = C:\Program Files\Bitcoin
The default is in %appdata%\armory or C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Armory
If it's actually in the default directories, you can set it to default = blank in the pathing settings (armoryqt.conf) and Armory's settings (File->Settings), restart.

If still doesn't work, you can use "Rebuild and Rescan Database" because there could be an issue with your old data when you ran out of space,
it will delete your Armory database and rebuild it. It wont cost you internet bandwidth but will take some time to finish.

I don't remember copying previous Bitcoin Core and Armory database.
Bitcoin Core is synchronizing normally when I open it.
My Bitcoin Core files are in Program Files/Bitcoin and Armory is also in Program Files/Armory. It was in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Armory and in the beginning I draged the file to Program Files/Armory. 0.02 BTC was still sent away from Armory to another wallet successfully.

"If it's actually in the default directories, you can set it to default = blank in the pathing settings (armoryqt.conf) and Armory's settings (File->Settings), restart." This part I don't understand much, sorry I am trying Smiley
If I do the Rebuild and Rescan Database now, will it affect my wallet or no?

The "program files" directory where Bitcoin core's files are, isn't the data directory, unless you set it in the config file or start parameter.
If you haven't changed Bitcoin core's settings, then it should be: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\bitcoin.
According to your logs, it appears that you've set the wrong directory in Armory's settings, so you should just set it to default (blank).
File->Settings...:

This is important: what settings and configs you did after upgrading to a new SSD?
Have you cloned your old drive because it seems like you're using the new drive as "C".

To be 100% sure what the Bitcoin data directory actually is, you can simply open Bitcoin Core GUI... look in "Window -> Information"... and see what the value for "datadir" is:

If it isn't "C:\Progam Files\Bitcoin" then you've setup Armory incorrectly.

Honestly, you should NOT be using C:\Program Files\Bitcoin as a datadir... as newer versions of Windows treat C:\ as being somewhat protected as it is the system drive... and you can often end up with really weird permissions errors if you're trying to read/write from certain directory paths Undecided

You must have meant "should not be using", right?
Because that drive is really a no-go for data directory because of that reason.

Ok. The copmuter guy cloned my old driver, so everithing is the same on my new SSD.

I went to Armory settings and put directory to default (blank).

I also checked Bitcoin data directory and it's C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin.

Should I now try to send it when I changed Armory directory into default?

Can you check your Bitcoin core is fully sync? Armory wallet won't work properly if the Bitcoin core is not fully synced and also Armory won't run properly if your bitcoin core is in pruned mode. So check that first on the bitcoin core settings and untick prune.

Then let's see if it will sync again or if it was fully synced?

This issue shouldn't take too long if you export the private key and import it to Electrum and transfer the remaining bitcoin to another wallet and then start again on the installation of your Armory and Bitcoin core wallet before you sent it back to your new armory wallet.

When I untick prune mode it says with red letters Reverting this setting requires re-downloading the entire blockchain.  ?

Ok what are my options. Do I go this way?
Or If I download Electrum on my PC and import it to Electrum will I be able to move ot to Binance from Electrum?

It was pruned? BTW, I see tons of issues in your setup, from the OP to the last posts.

Anyways, those "letters" indicate that Bitcoin Core will re-download and verify the blockchain from start
because in prune mode, the older blocks were already deleted.

I second BitMaxz's suggestion to export your keys to Electrum if you really need to spend them now.
The wallet is relatively safe but not as private as Armory.

There are a couple of replies in this board that have the instructions on how to export/import keys to Electrum,
like this post by HCP for example: /index.php?topic=4746784.msg43255691#msg43255691
The Electrum import instructions are posted a few replies after it.

Depends on what you want... If you want to continue using Armory, then you'd be advised to get Bitcoin Core fully synced and NOT pruned, and Armory connected to it.

If you just want your coins out, export the keys, import into Electrum and send them wherever you like.

Yes, I want to send the coins to Binance and I don't need Armory no more. The thing is I watched tutorials and Armory was only option to import the private key from Caucasius coin.

Anyways, what I do now is just download Electrum wallet on my laptop and follow the steps above? Is there any special thing I should know while downlowding electrum? So I don't make same mistake like I did with Bitcoin Core and Armory (I also followed tutorials - didn't even know about prune mode)

Really guys thankyou for your time

One important optional step is to verify your downloaded Electrum's signature to make sure that it's not a fake.

Before following HCP's instructions (from the link) to import the key(s) to Electrum,
you might want to do this first: [GUIDE] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum [Guide]
Note: The thread is long just because it includes steps for three different platforms, but the instructions for one OS should be simple.

Ok. I verified Electrums signature and it is approved, just like the steps in the link (thank you for that).
Now I will download Electrum, but do I sweep or import the private keys? Since I will be moving btc to another wallet. I noticed when downloading Electrum for sweeping you need to choose normal wallet and for importing u need to choose Bitcoin wallet or importing keys or something like that. I also read you recommend sweeping rather than importing?

The difference is when you "Sweep", Electrum will send all of the prvKey's address' balance to the wallet where you used sweep.
"Import" will just include the prvKey to the imported wallet (can't import to a standard wallet).

So since you mentioned that you're just going to send them to your Binance account, I'd suggest you to use "Import" in the new wallet option "Import bitcoin addresses or private keys" (click 'Info' to properly import the correct address type), then use the created 'imported wallet' to send the funds to Binance.
There's a shortcut that involves sweeping it to a watch-only electrum wallet with Binance deposit address but it's best to play safe.

But if you're planning to use Electrum, I'd suggest your to create a new wallet, backup the seed phrase. Then sweep using that wallet.
Take note that one of the option "2fa wallet", incurs a fee for third-party 2fa service in every 20/100 transactions (info), it's safe against "hacks" but not free.

Is it normal that when I want to copy paste those private keys that start with 5 there are more than 50 to copy and paste even though I only have 1 wallet adress on Armory?
And should I just copy paste one by one into Electrum and then click Next?
