Beyond Protocol
 Beyond Protocol was started by Silicon Valley-based technologists in January 2018 to harness the explosive power of merging distributed ledger technology and IoT. Beyond Protocol eliminates hacks and facilitates machine-to-machine value transfer.

An interesting project, but how many ethical and technical problems can arise .. Can the use of artificial intelligence will  turn off the participation of Homo sapiens at the stage of Embedded DLT M2M transactions in the future?

Love these questions and thinking.

We see Beyond Protocol as being a check against destructive hacks. Once integrated, devices are secure. And from here, they can be opened up to the world. The most creative among us can develop apps on top of any combination of devices. The App Store gave us Uber and Instagram. Beyond's Mega App Store will give us apps like a smart smoke alarm paying a drone to put out a fire.

We often think about how distributed ledger technology is a perfect defense against for dystopian/rogue AI. Blockchain would allow for a consensus to be reached before AI takes a destructive developmental turn.

I can't help but notice that the interesting question came from an user with your project's signature. Given you have no bounty, and no such signature lying around freely for anyone to use, and given their personal message is set as "official street team member", with street team seems to be --the way I get it, due to the lack of info and mentions, other than two times being said in TG-- your previous project, or ar least you habe a tie in history with it, I would assume Mila52 is part of your team, hence the signature and personal message. If I am correct, then why'd they have to ask such question and thinking here while they can actually discuss it internally off screen, suppose they didn't know the answer already, given its the ethics within your projects field?

I understand your concern with the genuineness of Mila52's question. We just began assembling the founding members of our Street Team and inviting people people to join. One component of their work is to represent the project in web communities -- for this, they do receive avatars and signatures. Mila52 posed his question prior to joining. Beyond Protocol has been operating in stealth since early 2018 and the core team has not started any other projects.

So in short, the answer is, "yes Mila52 is part of our team, but they asked that question because they hadn't re-joined us, so they didn't familiar with the nature of our project"?

Generally speaking though, keep in mind that we're trying to get as much info as possible out to the public about Beyond prior to launch. Our efforts on forums like this are a part of that.

He was also Chief of Staff of Windows. Denmark was previously EVP of Viacom Media Networks and President of BET Digital Media before founding Connectivity Ventures, an early-stage fund.

Is there a date now for public offering of this token? looks good to me and a promising project with solid usecases this kind of project can be compared into top 100 projects in coinmarketcap Im waiting for updates regarding the tokensale if there is.

Over the past three months, Beyond Protocol received thousands of allocation requests for the non-institutional tranche of its private pre-sale from people of all walks of life — from celebrities and professional athletes to computer scientists, quantum physicists, and politicians; also from passionate high schoolers in Mexico who formed a blockchain club, a kindergarten in Australia, and believers in the transformational power of decentralization from Africa. We vowed to grant allocation to those who could best advance the mission of the project — this didn’t have to be in flashy ways and regularly went to folks who could help support initiatives. In general, we‘ve been overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of submissions. As we turn our attention to launch, today, we’re announcing we no longer will be accepting requests. Don't take me wrongly, I believe all of us here know the reason why I questioned your post. And in case someone --or anyone-- didn't, I raised this issue because nowadays there are a lot of projects who tried to fake interests and hyping up their project by asking someone --and paid them-- or one of their members to fake some questions and feign interests. Beyond's case is rather unique, because the project were merited by a trusted member, yet it had its own member asking about the project they're in, so I would really love to clear this to avoid further doubt from anyone, and me myself, in the future.

If I may ask further for the sake of clarification, does it mean the project take a drastic turn and changes since you leave them? Given you had to ask about ethical and technical issue they may raise

Agreed. Hype without substance will ultimately end in project failure.

This is exactly why we've been in "stealth mode" for so long. Working to build the substance first, and now finally after several years, beginning to reach out via various avenues to spread the word.

Ultimately, the projects that deliver real value will separate themselves from the pack.

Beyond Protocol presents Connected Athlete ft. Rob Gronkowski, Steve Aoki, and Charly Jordan.

On September 4th, at a Beyond Protocol-themed mansion, we will unveil Connected Athlete. Rob Gronkowski and other professional athletes will have their biometric data recorded by wearables during a workout in a on-site human performance lab; the data will be analyzed against the athletes' prior 24 hour intake log and trigger a just in-time order for optimal nutrition using DoorDash. This will represent the first time the blockchain has been used to secure PHI (Patient Health Information) to support a sports medicine use case. Steve Aoki, a celebrity DJ and blockchain advocate, will DJ the event in an on-premises night club. Gronkowski and Aoki are Beyond Protocol token holders and partners. The event will be livestreamed to our community.

Some sports magazines are getting a digital makeover on blockchain.

Beckett Grading Services announced on Tuesday it would allow collectors to store certificates of authenticity for sports memorabilia on blockchain. Through its media arm, Beckett Media Group, the company currently publishes 18 magazines related to sports and collectibles, including Beckett Baseball and Beckett Basketball.

“Beckett is an industry leader in sports and is sitting on one of the most valuable vaults of intellectual property in publishing,” Beyond Protocol CEO Jonathan Manzi told TheWrap. “Their entrance into blockchain is significant.”
